    When you plan a layout of Cambridge station, I forgot that it has the 3rd longest platform in the UK. That'll be 4 straight lengths if flexi track

      You're right there, maybe half it again and run half length trains?

      What's the longest you need to fit in each half of the main platform? 2x 4 car emu? 8 coaches in n = 4ft ish, x2 is 8ft, plus another 1ft for the scissors = 9ft. Then station throat point work at each end... soon adds up!
