I will be covering the cutting up and project idea.
The Concept:
I had a Pullman coach that had one coupling snapped off, but otherwise, it was in good condition. I wondered what to do with it for some time until a lightbulb moment... I'll make it into an EMU or push-pull Pullman (i.e. with a cab). This will be for a heritage line that I'm building.
The Cutting Up:
I then detached the body into three parts:
I then removed the lighting PCB and wires, so that the bogies could be removed. I hope that I can find a 'micro motor' that will fit into a tiny space, but I think that the body will need some butchering. The next step will be to cut up the cab...
