looking like the siphon F will be the 1st kit back into production im building the 1 set of etches i have this comes with a etched roof that i will pre form
not sure on cost as of yet but hoping to get it done for under £50
please express interest here by email info@blacksmithmodels.co.uk or on the gwr modelers FB page but please only do it in 1 place as if im left with large amounts of stock then this will slow down the reintroduction of other kits
Thanks for the support so far Mark

Using Wayback Machine I've retrieved the following information for the kits Blacksmith were doing back in 2010 and listed them as an Excel file.
For anyone not familiar with using Wayback Machine then the following link should take you to the archived Blacksmith website pages (I think most of the links to their products shown on there work should you wish to look at the non-kit stuff they did :
http://web.archive.org/web/20100715170643/http://www.blacksmithmodels.com/kits.htm
interesting list i will compare this to my packing lists and etch tools
i have no 2 or 3mm tools but this isnt to say i cant do 2 or 3mm and with some castings being replaced with 3 d prints rescaling isnt such an issue
Thanks Mark

This is good news.
I’m in need of a 70’ first class coach for one of the formations I’m hoping to assemble, the Blacksmith 401005 should do it, but I keep being outbid on the rare ones that surface on Ebay. It would be great if this was to become available, the etch is the most important thing to me, if other components are a problem there are probably enough castings and interior bits in my coach building box and I generally go for RTR or 3D printed bogies.
Hopefully a website will emerge in good time, I can’t be doing with soshul meeja – it’s not that I’m a technophobe, it’s just that I haven’t got any mates…

For pre-Grouping, I'd be equally interested in GW, LNWR and SE&CR stock.
I wonder if a list of what may possibly become available could be produced, then that could garner expressions of wishes for specific items.
Good to see one of the lost ranges returning.
i may have the etches for these in stock ive not completly checked what i have yet stock wise if not ill do a batch in the new year
im looking at doing both etch only and complete kits but castings may be the issue to start with as finding the correct moulds for parts needed takes time
i will replace some castings with 3d prints

I agree. I admit to being an unskilled user of social media but even my kids cannot find him on Facebook.

So there is hope for the SE & CR coaches to return as well.
All the best
Ray
there is hope for everything in time
although it has to make me some money (or at least get my investment back) so one direction i may look at is expressions of interest in the same way we did the 4mm 15xx with Warren Shepard on the GWR modellers FB page

Would you be making the corridor connections available separately, they look a lot easier than the Roxey Mouldings, ones.
im about to send in the next few weeks a scissor connector and detailing etch off to be done which will include laser cut bellows its slightly different to the photo as no slots at the bottom. The detailing includes steps, lamp irons jumper cables

one would guess those who make the paints are good for expert opinions
few points on paint
as stated above red will fade quicker then some
we all see paint different so when someone sees a pinker shade others may not
light will change the look of the colour so if your layout is lit then match the colour under that lighting

I'm tempted, sorely tempted, really tempted etc. etc......................................
How will it be for conversion to P4 and EM? Plenty of room between the valve gear and crossheads for instance? 1/8" axles? Drop out wheelsets?

Hopefully the brake rodding can be installed correctly. Otherwise, very nice.

yes its a redraw from his 7mm kit like the 15xx all done in conjunction with the GWR modellers facebook group. These two are the test builds done by myself and another a few tweaks are under way and the production tooling and etches will be ordered with delivery in 4-5 weeks

thank you for your custom
glad to be able to put some of the items back out there
the problem ive found is there isnt enough castings to make 1 single kit of any type
so by getting items like this back out this helps the cash flow
thanks again Mark
