Thanks Andy, I'll just have to be more careful in future.

I think I may have accidentally clicked on the Mark site read button and I can't seem to be able to change it back to the original setting.
Can somebody give me some advice if possible, please.

I think you'l find the whole point of having a nanny was to save mater and pater from having any but the most cursory contact with their heir and spares.
Well you know what they say............."Always keep away from children"!

I think the general view around the area I live, Scottish Highlands, is that most sheep spend their time wandering around looking for as many different ways to die that they can find!
They seem to be very good at it!

You can't beat a bit of 'Yorkshire action'.

Not everyone is.
People in the flat below ours were intending to go away to the highlands tomorrow. Their camper van was loaded and left between 9pm and 10pm tonight . . .
Paul.
Hi Paul, when they get back, perhaps you might like to pop downstairs and tell them what total moronic, selfish dickheads they are. On the other hand it may be better to text them as you wouldn't want to catch anything.

Hi there Clive, I've just read through the latest posts on here and I'm dismayed that you are thinking of leaving this forum. Just because some 'numbnuts dick' who doesn't know the difference between poly cement and superglue feels the need to make crass statements about traditional technology ought to perhaps think that if he paid more attention to traditional technology in the first place, he would know what utter cr*p he was talking. Please hang on in there Clive the whole thing about railway modelling is that it's origins stem from tradition, keep on doing what you are doing.

Sad news and my sincere condolences to his family and friends. He was a very talented modeller with a great eye for detail. Hemyock was an inspirational layout. He will be greatly missed.

Great comedy!
The modern stuff is just shouty, too PC and very NOT funny any more.

Kevin, your photographs are absolutely superb, they show off the quality of your modelling to perfection.
I also enjoyed the videos as well, it's nice to see some movement through your beautifully modelled scenes.
Keep 'em coming.

Many thanks to all of you who took the trouble to respond, the information you have provided has not only confirmed what I had been thinking but has given me the wherewithal to understand the principles involved.
I think I shall probably invest in a much better quality soldering iron and also pay more attention to the solders and fluxes I use.
Once again, thanks to all of you and also to RMWeb for bringing all this knowledge together in one place.
