  1. Thanks Stuart!

It would be great to see more of the layout when/if you get around to sharing . What kind of era is it set in?

    David

Sorry for the long overdue reply, David! The layout is currently set in the 1920s (vague, I know!) though this may change if I want to spruce things up later.

  2. Hi Stuart,

Great introduction to your layout and modelling. I am also a fan I light and minor railways so enjoyed your photographs and cannot wait to read more of your projects. It would be good to see more of your layout... perhaps it needs its own topic here on RM Web! :)

What is he basis of your KESR coach - is it out built? Love the Hudswell Clarke by the way, I am also ha proud owner of one of these little beauties! :)

    Thanks!

I'd give the layout (or even just general model-y things) its own topic, but I'm not entirely sure how one does that yet!

The K&ESR coach is an Alphagraphix brass kit. I think it's a fairly recent addition for the Colonel's 150th this year.

The Ixion Hudswell Clarke is just brilliant, isn't it? It's such a smooth runner and can pull almost anything.

    Hi Stuart,

    Welcome to the Forum

Some nice modelling you have there.

    Do keep posting your progress.

    John

    Thanks John!

I'll try and keep this blog updated fairly regularly, though there will inevitably be periods where nothing happens!

Hi Stuart, welcome! It's good to see your modelling on here too. I loved your Broadstone diorama when I saw it on Twitter, and it'd be great to see more of your shots on here. The D1's also very nice!

    Linny

Good to see you here, Linny!

I've been following the progress of your layout for a wee while now. I'm very impressed and look forward to seeing more!

Broadstone (well, the shelter at least) will hopefully be making a public appearance at the end of October for the Bo'ness Gauge O Group's light railway 'gala'. It's likely to be used as a temporary halt on the layout's branchline.
