Hi Steve,
Others have correctly identified this as single line token equipment. If it helps, I have the original plans - that should help with modeling it.
Drop me a personal message if you would like them.
Richard

Photo of one at Buckfastleigh
The angled post going out of shot on the left would have the tablet for the next section mounted vertically on it hoop upward for the fireman to collect with this forearm (I think)
Great Bear again excellent thanks so much

It’s a token catcher / holder:
One post has a “cows horn” and net, the other post has a lantern on it.
The shorter post was the holder of the token to be collected by the engine crew.
On page 93 of “The Heart of the Great Western” by Adrian Vaughan there is a photo of the same equipment at Didcot East Jn for receiving the token off the Didcot, Newbury & Southampton Branch.
Photos of the equipment in use are on page 103 of “A Pictorial Record of Great Western Signalling” also by Adrian Vaughan.
Banger Blue thats excellent thank you .... ! Just got to work out how to model it now

I am a security technician and systems surveyor (Intruder Alarms / CCTV & Access Control) for a very large UK security company, I wholeheartedly recommend the use of smartwater and the locks mentioned in this thread, I would also suggest the use of a monitored alarm system installed by a National Security Inspectorate (NSI) or the SSAIB member company or the very minimum a system that communicates to a mobile device as audible alarm only systems are next to useless unfortunately.
CCTV unless monitored is a very reactive method, I find that scumbags now expect CCTV and mask /hoodie / scarf up etc accordingly and unfortunately this is therefore inadmissable usually as the to identify an individual the require to be 120% of the monitor size, also avoid analouge cameras such as 700TVL , as High Definition Cameras of between 2 and 4 Megapixel are availble quite cheaply.

I am happy to give free advice if required
Cheers
