Bear in mind that Metropolitan electric locos were running alongside what became BR trains well before yellow ends were thought of, so I wonder if there is some sort of 'grandfather rights' for LU trains on BR lines?

Hi,
Not sure of your scale, but Electra Rail (www.electrarail.co.uk) do Chiltern coaches + DVT vinyls in N Gauge. If you contact them, they may be able to do an order in a different scale.

Have you considered something from a downloadable card kit? Have a look at Scalescenes' shed offerings at https://scalescenes.com/railscenes/ (scroll to the bottom of the page). Their Modellers Gallery page shows what you can do with a bit of mixing and matching.

The tunnel was still there in 2007 - you can see the remnants of the junction with the northbound W&C on the Video 125 drivers eye view production filmed that year.

I used Kato bogies. You can buy 3 pairs for around £12 on ebay including postage. They're probably not the most accurate but they are sufficiently low so that they do not look weird when on the track
Hope this helps
If possible, please can you post any side-on photos of your tube stock on these bogies?
Personally, I've been put off going for the recent 3D printed tube stock bodies, purely because the ride height is too high on normal bogies IMHO. The bodies are nicely detailed and look fine, but for me the overall look is ruined by the ride height.

There was (I don't know if its still there) a freight terminal of some sort down near the A12, diverging near Pudding Mill Lane DLR station. These services could have been going there perhaps?

Next up I've glued the national express coach and the delivery vans I repainted, so the road scenes are now complete. I've also finished the next building - a concrete-clad office block. This was built as the real thing would have been - a central core to cantilever the floors from, with a curtain wall exterior. I need to get some N gauge birds (pigeons?) to sit on the roof here and on a couple of the other buildings. I'm pleased how this has come out, I had to try several goes before I got a concrete effect I was happy with, and it still needs bedding into the scene with some more details around the back.
How about a window cleaner on one of those pulley lifts on the side of the building?

Have you seen this page, particularly the first photo?

There was a sample running on the Dapol stand at the N Gauge Society AGM last weekend - hopefully that's a good sign
