  1. Chocolate AND cream๐Ÿ˜‰
  2. Mutter, mutter, plonk'n'play, grumble, grumble, nation of box-openers ๐Ÿ˜‰
  3. I had a bad case of that when I first switched to N but eventually 'got my eye in'. Now I'm dabbling with OO again whilst still doing N it's getting confusing once more ๐Ÿ˜ณ
  4. One silencer seems to be left-handed, one right ๐Ÿค”
  5. As pictured - the footsteps reach outboard of the head code panel. Heljan's are completely inboard.
  6. If you want everyone to get their toys on the same day, you don't need a fulfilment centre you need Father Christmas ๐Ÿ˜‰
  7. No sign of the article on EM conversion of the Accurascale Manor yet? The shade of green probably isn't right for it this time around๐Ÿ˜‰
  8. GP50, could well be Bachmann as they did one with that running number.
  9. You forgot one: https://www.modelu3d.co.uk/product/14400/ ๐Ÿ˜‡
  10. Cut up and loaded into the wagons? ๐Ÿ˜‡
  11. Hell! My eyes hurt after that! But I guess that's Wolverhampton for you ๐Ÿ˜‰
  12. Something to keep an eye on as I was just blocked by that. Fortunately I was only trying to check my points balance and got through on a repeat attempt anyway๐Ÿ˜Ž
  13. The LZV100 is a top-end controller, not basic, and uses 4 digit addressing. I don't think there ever was a version of it that didn't, to be honest, (although my memory is increasingly fallible) but if it's running v3.6 firmware then it's definitely got 4 digit. It's what I've been using for years๐Ÿ‘ Similarly, functions beyond 5 have been supported on this for so long I can't remember.
  14. The Government's 'Kids for Coal' trade-in scheme exceeded even the most optimistic forecasts.
  15. The previous BBC article actually referred to signals, but now they're back to the peace poor journalism I've come to expect. Given that PPI has been done and dusted, I wonder if I can claim for PPJ? ๐Ÿ˜‡
  16. Good on ya, I've been thinking of doing something similar for a few "off the grid" sidings that will never be operated by anything other than my trusty digit. Little point in adding a motor and linking them into the computer side of things, I thought ๐Ÿ‘
  17. Thanks for those. There's always a bit of YouTube I've missed despite my best efforts๐Ÿ˜‰
  18. The VANWIDE was a much better design from the uneven loading point of view. With the doors in the middle your average FLT driver would have to work harder to get all the weight at one end. Just guessing there, of course, as I was still at school back then ๐Ÿ˜‰
  19. If you lean over a bit you might just catch a glimpse of the turtle ๐Ÿ˜‰
  20. Well, I've built an awful lot of kits in my time and come to the conclusion that no, for me personally building layouts is what I really enjoy. Similarly, on the underframe issue, I can pretty much guarantee that a modern Bachmann offering will be a sharper and better moulded effort than an aged and rounded Parkside offering. A personal viewpoint again, but if I want to start correcting things I'd prefer the RTR equivalent as a stepping off point. Now, if there were plastic kits of similar quality to modern plastic RTR...
