  1. Hello all,

I know this has been discussed before but I'm stumped.

I have a TTS decoder that I am using to operate a Sleuth 22 smoke generator. I am using a DCC concepts DPDT mini relay to switch the smoke generator on and off using func 18 (aux lighting) on the decoder to power the coil in the relay to then using the main pick ups to power the smoke generator. I have now used 2 different relays but am having the same issue. I know the relay is wired correctly but now I'm stuck.

All track power on TTS sound come on when selected on func 1 on decoder. No smoke. I then select func 18, I hear the decoder drawing more power and then the smoke generator kicks in to life. So that all works. Issue now is when I unselect func 18 the smoke stays on and is now on constantly regardless off having func 18 on or off. Does not matter if track power is off and out back on again the smoke generator is now constantly on again!

It's as if the coil has powered on 1st func 18 use and has thrown the relay to operate the smoke generator, but now the coil or how ever it works will not close the relay is that makes sense. Have I missed something ?
