  1. There were all steel former Private Owner wagons in traffic that superseded the all wooden design and were the precursor to the 14t ones later uprated at the outbreak of war to 16 ton. There were many vintage PO wagons that remained in traffic after the war as they were not Pooled in 1939.
  2. Either buy direct or as a special order via a retailer!
  3. The Dapol RTR ones are really the former Dublo body on aRTR Airfix chassis, this is 4mm too long over headstocks and wheelbase, if you want something easy to use with the side doors down the Airfix kit now Kitmaster one comes with separate doors.
  4. I just used mine it was open box marked points, then there is Redeem in there. Not sure how I managed to use them but had an order ready to pay for and it reduced the order by the value of points!
  5. All suitable, the Londonderry Collieries ones were also allowed on the mainline being used from Dawdon, Seaham and Vane Tempest to South Dock with shipment coal.
  6. Here is an edited one by David Larkin showing the circuit working on a MEO.
  7. Going back to the use of 24.5 ton minerals in Northumberland, I believe that their use was short term till replaced with the 24.5 ton hoppers. There is a photo of a block train in the transport library of a Q6 at Little Benton with a loaded train.
  8. Please no more made up stuff there is enough of it about!
  9. Gulf red Herrings are acceptable!
  10. It'll almost certainly be a balancing move with the 70 but was it in multi with the 66?
  11. I would believe the hourly HST Edinburgh/Kings Cross service booked via Carlisle for the duration of the engineering work.
  12. The problem with real liveries on vans or containers is that when manufacturers produce a real one it is dismissed as fantasy!
  13. Remember the fate of the inhabitants of Brontital as a result of the Shoe Event Horizon!
  14. It seems that so many decisions have been made by so many ministers who knew so little about so much and make the decisions based on poll ratings rather than what the effects will be which quite often costs more.
