  1. Wish to obtain original or scan of Hornby R 936 Instruction Leaflet
  2. Hi Halvarras, If you wish to sell your redundant H & M Walkabout I would certainly be interested. If so could you possibly please give me an idea of cost and postage. Cheers and many thanks
  3. Don't think so more interested in selling their own controllers nowadays. No-one wants to repair anything these days a ridiculous wasteful throwaway society !!!!!!! Stable Cottage long since gone I am afraid.
  4. I have had two of these excellent controllers for a number of years used to operate my layout from the front as a supplement to the existing panel. Recently I have had to complete a rewire of the layout and regrettably through accident both controller outputs were connected to 16V AC, neither operate any longer and I am told that this stupid action may have blown the output transistors. Does any reader know of a competant and reasonably priced repairer who could fix these for me?? I have been unable through internet search to find a circuit diagram.
  5. Many thanks J.Pendle for your valuable info on the diode reference I gave up searching and passed the loco to a local repairer - I have given them the reference in the hope it will aid repair.
  6. Thanks Huw yes the board worked OK before the fall - after putting everything back - some of the delicate wiring to the light board had become unsoldered and I reconnected as I thought from the numbering on the PCB When track tested the loco smoked and the component now missing had burnt out.
  7. This is only two bands green & black no other markings.
  8. I have a Mehano Vossloh G 1206 which has taken a tumble from my layout. After reassembly the LED reversing lights do not work and a resistor has burnt out on the PCB. The resistor fitted by Mehano is dark brown in colour with a 1 black and 1 green band and I am unable to find one of the colour to replace. Can I use a substitute and if so what value ??? Attached photo of top of lighting PCB
  9. Thanks for your comments Huw - here attached is a photo of the top of the lighting PCB - the bottom resistor which failed has been removed - I really just need an idea of the value as most resistors I search for on the net appear to have 3 or 4 coloured bands -- this Mehano item only has two - 1 black 1 green. Any help you could give would be very much appreciated
  10. I attach photo of the PCB the bottom resistor has failed and has been removed - the track for PCB can be clearly seen.
  11. I have one of these items which has taken a tumble and during reassembly some wiring has been disturbed. I have managed to get the loco working again but the LED lights no longer work - a resistor on the PCB appears to have blown - it is dark brown with two bands black and green and I wish to replace it to get the lighting working once more. Mehano have been entirely unhelpful although I have asked them for the resistor values - can anyone give me a suitable replacement resistor value please as it seems that most resistors have three or four colour bands???
  12. I have a Mehano Vossloh G 1206 which has a problem with the LED lights, it would appear a part has burnt out on the PCB. Contact with Mehano tells me a) they do not have any parts b) they do not ship to the UK anymore. I have made contact with Lemke who tell me that they have never sold this model but do have parts for someof their Mehano models. Can anyone advise a) where parts may be obtained or b) a reasonable repairer in the UK who may be able to repair the PCB to reinstate the lights.
