Hornby website is now showing "Last Few" on the R3948 BR, Class 370 Advanced Passenger Train Non-Driving Motor (NDM), 49004.

Hammers to break windows were behind pull-off covers in each coach - no 'special' escape windows like some modern trains have.

The first of those pictures is of the interior of a TU dining car - so yes it had 2+1 seating. The second is of a Trailer Brake First again 2+1 seating.
Second class vehicles were 2+2.

I took a little bit of video of the Project-tilt full length APT-P running at Making Tracks II on Saturday -
With detailing from Cheshire Lines and weathering by Neville Grove
