Cheers, might look into buying but I’ve already sorted stuff out with a friend though, a tenner and a bit of time fixing up some of his models.

  2. Mystery 3 rail OO tinplate track?

Friend and I were talking earlier, and after digging through some stuff they found some old track they’d got in a job lot for around £50, most of it is Triang standard track (grey plastic base) with one section of super 4, but what caught my eye was two lengths of tinplate 3 rail track, a black tin base, unsure of any branding and they can’t find any markings, can’t be Dublo based on colour alone. At first I thought it may have been Trix Twin, but it’s a tin base, TTR’s was bakelite, any assistance on finding out the origin of this track will be greatly appreciated.

Alright I managed to find it! After getting some better photos I’ve found it’s from an Eveready London Underground train set, dry battery operated.

Unsure of the origin of this, but I am interested to know more, if anyone knows anything about this train set then do tell!
