5741 is duck!
Or is he....
(Rev Awdry suggested in his book on the Island of Sodor that Duck took the number of another Pannier before he went to the island).
Be nice if over time if Accurascale did all the Railway Series locos, but as their real counterparts. Would get an Accurascale A4, Black 5, etc then.

There is always an element of people having problems more likely to post than people who don't. This true of any product or service.

The mk2D range of coaches possibly or maybe the Class 47, every major player should have a Class 47 in their range.
I've put on the tin hat!
Are you a major player if you don't have a 47... 🤣

Ooh I had two of those wagons (at the front) on my layout too. Nice to see other people had them also. No internet thirty years ago meant you rarely saw same models appear on layouts except at exhibitions. :)

My crew arrived today - the local DHL chap appears to be on a mission as he's always about an hour before the estimated delivery window.
Decoder due tomorrow so nearly time to get busy with Bob - assuming I can remember what I did with the speaker!
Maybe he doesn't believe in Summer Time and sticks to GMT 😀

Have 66001 and 66779 ever met in real life? Had a quick search on Flickr but found nothing. (Odds are they have been in same place at same time, but would be nice to see first and last together).

The number of colouring-in submissions could be one way for Accurscale to judge the next set of liveries to do.

I wasn't a big fan of the Irish Rail Mark 4 driving cab, but I do think it looks a bit more elegant than the TPE Mark 5 one.

Saw this on Twitter. The cab detail is stunning:

It's a belter, by Lyddrail of this parish. Check it out on youtube. Tonbridge Yard stuffed full of engineers wagons, 73's, 33's and EMU's going by on the Redhill Line - Phwoooaaaarrr.
Also an old thread on here with some photos. Was one of those inspirational layouts for me when I saw it in Model Rail (possibly when that was still a supplement in Rail) :

What is that thing in the last photo next to the 92. I have never seen as nothing like it, but I want one. Is it some kind of Class 31?
An Irish A-Class in fictitious BR livery, done as an "homage" to the Class 33s and Hymeks models released in CIE livery many years ago.

Throwing out a wildcard, but could it be an Irish Laminate:

Thanks but I can’t get into the article on Keymodelworld to access the link and I can’t find it on YouTube. I’m not subscribed to keymodelworld only the print version of the magazine.
Thanks anyway. It wasn't in search results on Youtube because it was unlisted. I presume Hornby mag uploaded the video there to host it while they embedded it on their own website page.

I came across these pics on Twitter from GETS of the 31 samples:

I would go with Option 1 as it would provide opportunity for some shunting, etc on the layout.

I remember this layout being in the first (?) issue of Rail Express. Provided a lot of inspiration to my own layout I built during the late-1990s / early 2000s. Nice to see it still survives.

There's precious little on the market for them to run alongside though - I can only think of VEPs, ....... no CIG/BIGs, 319s, 377s or 455s .....
Having had a thunk overnight I can add 2EPBs, 2Hs, occasional 4CEPs and possibly 2HAPs to the availability list ( plus 33s, 47s and coaching stock ) .............. plus 3Ds and innumerable other EPB variants to the 'missing' list.
As well as Irish Rail 071s, 141s, 181s, 201s and NIR 111s and 201s. 😀

Hattons have one in stock and box says it does have headlights and does tilt, but lights only in direction of travel:
It is like one of those curiosities lost to the mists of time.
