  1. Kaput, thank you so so much this is perfect information. I may need some guidance on fitting this correctly but I think I'll put the order in now. Very much appreciate this many thanks.
  2. Good Afternoon all, I hope I'm posting this in the right place & someone maybe able to help me. I have a DB Schenker Class 66 from Hattons & would love to give it DCC Sound, having watched a few videos on YouTube the sound that Hattons fitted to the 66 as standard was the stand out winner. Please can anyone who maybe aware point me in the direction of purchasing a sound chip that Hattons factory fitted to them in the first place & if possible could anyone please advise if there is a speaker already on the loco or would I have to purchase a speaker seperately? Many thanks in advance for any help or assistance, Kind Regards.
  3. I too am very keen to see a video of the sounds in action, mainly to find out if the very prolific rad fan is present. I really hope it is because the 92's fan made the loco even better! So looking forward to release of these.
  4. I received my RTC pair yesterday & as predicted they are absolutely stunning! The livery application, interior details, exterior details & just about everything else are absolutely top notch! I'm still yet to pluck up the courage to open them up & fit the curtains & any other bufferbeam detailing I can but they are so packed with detail I don't think adding anymore could possibly make them any better. I'm still awaiting my pre-orders of WCRC examples from ROS but these are simply divine! Echoing someone elses comment in this thread... Now we've seen these... How about some MK2E's or F's & even better... Some WCML loco hauled MK3's! 😉 Keep up the stunning work as ever Accurascale & many thanks.
  5. If true that'd be fantastic! Let's cross fingers wait & see. Thanks for the info.
  6. Looking forward to someone announcing an exclusive 69009 as that's the best livery I've seen on one yet!
  7. I'm loving all of these but 004 the most as its the one I've ordered 😉 I've also put my email address forward for 779 if any spare sound fitted examples become available..... very much doubt they will but you never can be sure.
  8. I suppose now the production liveries have been shown off to the masses at MRS there will be an update next week or just after with all the new liveried examples. I've personally pre-ordered 37116 in Colas & the Dutch one which number always alludes me. Can't wait to receive mine as all of these look incredible!
  9. Thank you for your rapid response, no I've hadn't previously ran it with the sound off. I tuned the sound off yesterday as I noticed it was having a little struggle then heard the noise. I don't think for a minute it's anything serious but just wondered if there was anything I could check to rectify. Many thanks again for responding.
  10. A question for the Cavalex crew on here, I've had my 2 56's for a little over 2 weeks now (055 in Load Haul & 091 in DCR Grey). Both ran absolutely superbly when first tested, however I got 091 out yesterday for a spin & noticed when the sound was switched off there was a kind of scraping noise & it appeared at slow speed that the loco was juddering a little bit. As said when testing the loco straight out of the box it ran superbly but only noticed the problem on my second running. Could anyone please advise if there's something I can check to see if there's a motor problem or perhaps something within the gearing? Many thanks in advance.
  11. Good morning all, vast apologies to re-post an already touched on bit of information but I've scanned back through about 6 pages of this thread & can't seem to find what I was looking for 😐 Please can whoever posted the drive technique of a sound fitted example (something that involved F5 & F6 on a DCC remote) please re-post them? I've only had my Load Haul & DCR examples out for a short run each so far & I am blown away by the sounds. However, I'd like to see how someone managed to make it more realistic/more play value 😉 Thanks ever so much in advance.
  12. All these pictures are making me just a smidge jealous 😆 I really cannot wait for my Tamworth Castle in green to become available. Alas no word on that yet. Fantastic pictures folks, please keep them coming & if anyone has a sound fitted example & fancies doing a demo on YouTube I'd be most interested 😉
  13. My personal hopes for what may come from the Bachmann announcement would be... Diesel locos: it would be really nice to see the class 57 brought up to the standard of the 47 & to have the ability to correctly show all 3 headlights as per the prototype instead of the 2 Bachmann have always had. Electric locos: bit spoilt for choice on this one, but a class 81,82,83 or 84 would be amazing. More liveries for the Class 90 & maybe a new improved 86 to go against Heljans offering. DMU: The fabled class 170 upgrade would be most welcome, as well as a much needed upgrade for the Class 220/221 Voyagers, a Class 222 Meridian & maybe make a start on the CAF family 195,196 & 197. EMU: Upscaling the Class 319 & 321 units from N to 00 would be most welcome. Maybe take the morr heritage plunge & go for classes 303,304,305,310,312 etc. Again the CAF family of 331 or 397 units. Or introduce the Networker family & include a Royal Mail 325 alongside classes 465/466.
  14. I received my first pair this morning in the shape of 56055 in Load Haul & 56091 in DCR Grey. They are both absolutely stunning! They exude quality (those bogies are something to behold!) & the livery application on both is incredible. I love the very handy stencil guide included with 56091 for getting the nameplates attached without the need to print the plates onto the body first, it's certainly innovative & very useful indeed for anyone who's a but unsure on the positions etc. I'm yet to attempt to fit any buffer beam details but the instruction manual is incredibly clear on how to do it so shouldn't pose many problems to anyone. These locos are an absolute triumph! & a wonderful way to start out in the 00 gauge loco market, I have exceedingly high hopes for the class 60 & if the DCC sound on the 60 is as incredible as it is on the 56.... We are in for a huge treat! Thank you Cavalex for all your time & effort on these & keep up the fantastic work.
