Do you intend to assign each track to a specific use or industry?
Absolutely not. I only want to do shunting operations. No Inglenook or Timesaver rules will be applied. It's a free country here. Only rule #1 applies here !

Unfortunately, yesterday, when I parked my car in my garage, I completely forgot that my baseboard was on the ground. I just discovered that baseboard doesn't like car tires.
This first layout no longer exists....I'm working on a new one.

I've just made a very simple single track 10cm long one by cutting a T shape from thickish (probably 3mm) card.
Found it !

I'm waiting for two packs of 3 Maklin buffer stops.

Just found this:

What's the best way to build a small 2-tracks traverser (22cm) in 00 gauge ? It must be very simple and basic. I plan to build it for my Kerizac's little yard #2. Many thanks for your help.

Hello everyone,
What's the best way to build a small 2-tracks traverser (22cm) in 00 gauge ? It must be very simple and basic. I'm planning to build it for my Kerizac's little yard #2 (the #1 died in very tragic circumstances under my car). Many thanks for your help. -
Good start. I'll follow your work with interest.

I needed several new buffer stops. I used very old Fleischmann buffer stops for a long time (see picture below). They are supposed to be in code 100 like the Peco or Hornby track but it doesn't work.
So I removed a few Marklin buffer stops #23977 (Marklin "My World" toy range / £8.00 for a pack of 3) from their fake Plastic ballast to put them on the Peco track. It works very well as you can see on the photo below:

And now, back to work ! I drawn this new track plan. I think it's a little better than the first one. What do you think about it ?

I can't save it. I'll put it in my wood stove this winter. Back to work !

OMG, that looks like a rather antiquated controller! But still, if it works, then that's all that surely matters. ...
It's just a joke In fact I use a Bachmann DC controller.

I tried this kit and it was a complete disaster.
I have another idea: a creepy factory (something like that):

New track plan and new buffer stops. It's just a try. The track isn't nailed yet.
