I’d at the least write an email/letter and follow up with a call. The basic concept for a quality product is that it does what the item was designed to do.
Your purchases don’t fit that brief.
I’d be angry too. Good luck.

Murray field is a good day out; I suspect that the increasingly rancid tone of Anglo-Scots press and politics is in play here.
Murrayfield is a lovely day out. As an Englishman surrounded by Scot’s watching a Scotland v England game I expected to be hit with nationalist overtones. No such thing, the Scots treated us as fans with huge respect, the England team not so. Enjoyed every minute.- 5

The ranges of cars purchased are greater than those manufactured in the UK. It simply isnt economic to manufacture all types of car in any single market hence cheaper to build at scale in one country and export to another. Cheaper to have the toolings etc for car type A in one factory and build that car to the plant capacity and pay the distribution costs of cars rather than carry 10 types of toolings in 10 different countries and have lower distribution costs.
Quite correct, I should have used beef, lamb or maybe flour, as an example. All in all a complicated subject.

If that were the case, the economy would never grow.
Engineering supply to be slightly less than demand, increasing prices, raising revenues, raising economy’s. New ideas, new start ups, borrowing from cash reserves converted from gold or other valuable substance's free’s up capital and grows economy’s. There’s no additional monies in the world. Someone will always lose out somewhere, currently it’s Chinese builders.

Seeing as most of our major companies get taken over by foreign investment I do often wonder if there is any money left in this country.
It does make you wonder doesn’t it. Britain does have some of the largest banks lending globally, so there is an offset. The bit I’ve never understood is, for example, why we import so many cars, when we make enough here to satisfy new car sales. It’s a poor example, but, hopefully you understand the sentiment behind it.

How?
There’s no additional money in the world of commerce, it just moves around. When you win the lottery, you are just getting someone else’s money. Same in business.

He’s a businessman and makes money on the back of people losing money. He’s not the first and won’t be the last. It’s just a shame so many companies and trades have disappeared through companies gambling on borrowed money, lining a company with debt and failing.

Hazy/unfiltered is vegan friendly too. So I assume it improves the size of their customer base as well.

Nice project. Did you send off your own CAD drawings or did you draw them all out manually on paper?

So is production ceasing in Consett and moving elsewhere? just if your keeping the ready built models is the model makers been kept employed who build them?
My first thoughts too were the professional model makers and designers. Last accounts listed around thirty employees. Can’t be good news for them.- 2

I’ve spent hour upon hour upon hour trying to work out these online tools. I’ve decided life is too short and I found it much quicker using pencil and paper.

Ever warming world ? - Minus 6 this morning here in Wigan. I'm getting thoroughly sick of the green agenda being thrust down my throat while the rest of the world do next to nothing AND take all our industry etc with it's inherant CO2 etc emissions.
I've often wondered why UK PLC doesn't insist we mine coal and ore here, but do it responsibly and managed. This way the world would be better off Co2 wise and the countries that don't care won't get the extra work, creating more Co2.

I feel very sad for those families effected by the news of this closure. Fingers crossed they all find jobs quickly and are suitably recompensed financially to enable them to keep paying those bills until they do.

Unfortunately it’s one of those hobbies that is viewed as odd by the general population. Best to just sow the seed and let them find their own way.

I would set a compass to the radius of the circle you want to find the centre of. Then scribe arcs across the centre from at least two points of the edge of your disc. Where they intersect is the centre.

Me too...all over the place. I've tried Firefox, Chrome and Edge with all cookies and cleared and all I see are a lot (actually most) image links to a JPG or GIF with a 'throbbing' light blue background highlight.
An example of the error that is returned when I try and view an image is:
This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.

</Error>I can see some images but most I cannot - and I'm including recent posts not just old ones.
I'm now considering abandoning RMWeb because of this - images are crucial to understanding and appreciating many posts and responses.
exactly the same issue I have. -
I use Chrome and even after refreshing and deleting all browsing history etc I can’t get images to load. I really spoils the website’s experience. It’s a shame as it is normally the first place I come to but may have to look elsewhere.

I've got an old '53 split screen moggy Minor and that runs okay on cheap unleaded (for 12 years now), a little bit jittery but nothing worrying. No issues with valve seat burn, wear, but i only do a few hundred miles a year. I've recently started using super plus unleaded and adding tetrosyl, I've noticed a significant improvement in it's pulling power. I say pulling power at 803cc that's a bit of an exaggeration.

Is there no way you can disconnect the pipe outside the property as it enters through the external wall and attack from that side? Be careful when you pull it off as you'll need to find a way of preventing the pipe from being pushed through the wall when you try to connect it back up again. I usually get someone to push the pipe from inside the house as you push the pipe back on from the outside. You'll probably say now he lives in a 100 storey high rise
