  1. Hi, I am thinking of buying a model of 8101. Does anyone know (or point me to) when the 81xx’s were repainted into BR lined Green? Thanks Fred
  2. Hi, I hope that the upcoming model of 8101 will be 100% accurate as per https://www.brdatabase.info/locoqry.php?action=locodata&type=S&id=3123&loco=3123 Thanks Fred
  3. Hi, How about 56042 with experimental CP1 bogies? Although I guess that’s altered tooling. Fred
  4. Hi, I presume since this was last seen at Booths it must have been cut up.

Thanks for the replies. On the model of 61949 there is a cylinder shaped object on the running board just in front of the cab that is not in the photograph. Also which were the BR numbers of the K3/2 and K3/3 variants. Fred
  7. Hi, would you have seen mixed rakes of Thompson and Gresley coaches in the early 60’s? Thanks Fred

Hi, I bought a Bachmann model of K3 61949 4 years ago. I have just found out via a photo on Flickr that the real loco was not fitted with a Steam Brake with Vacuum Ejector. I am therefore planning to renumber the model to 61869, is that suitable as it seems to have the correct tender. Also is the old Bachmann model of 61932 suitable to be renumbered as 61936? Thanks Fred
  9. Thanks steamport southport
  10. Hi, when LT acquired the 57xx Panniers from BR did they repaint them into LT livery immediately or did some run in BR livery for a while (and if so when were they repainted). Thanks Fred
  11. Hi, how about a model of LSWR C14 2-2-0 class in OO gauge as they were interesting locos. Thanks Fred
  12. Hi, do you know which year 68987 received a late crest as I can’t find anything. Also a model of the J50/1 and J50/2’s in OO gauge and the recently announced TT:120 would be good. Thanks Fred
