First test of laying the track. Works fine for me. As usual, any questions and comments welcomed.

Nice start. Can't wait for the next step !

Now I'm really sure that the layout works very well, I'll remove the track to start the real work (tunnel, walls, painting, greenery, landscape...).

A very basic baseboard and a very simple track plan. That's all !

Thanks. On all my layouts, only the famous rule #1 applies...

Thanks. I found a lot of ideas in your thread for my new project: Nowhere Land Yard. Once again, thanks.

Hello,
I borrowed a lot of ideas from the nice Pickwick Yard shunting layout and I decided to build my own shunting layout: the Nowhere Land Yard. This yard was built in the middle of nowhere for some unknown reasons. The dimensions are 120cm x 25cm. Any questions and comments welcomed.- 8

After making a lot of mistakes (as always ), I found that my layout was a little bit short for proper shunting operations. I need a longer baseboard. Back to the workbench !

I need to build a backdrop, a few warehouses, factories and industrial buildings. It seems that I still have a lot of work to do !
