Currently getting Draxbridge ready for the Bridlington model railway show on Saturday 3rd September. 

The layout has undergone a spruce up. I've dusted the layout, repainted parts of the layout and added more scatter on the grass areas. One of the thin strips of wood at the front of the layout needed repairing so that was done.

Also, we've done something to the three points in the scenic section. We've added wires to change the points. My Grandad cut a groove in the baseboard with a Dremel and then drilled a small hole the wire to be fed through. It was then covered up with sticky back paper and painted. This will make changing the points easier. We had to remove the Spitfire in order to do it though.
