Hi
I'm converting a 7mm basically well made ex GNR 6 wheeled coach from coarse to fine scale and the one weak area of the model is the undercarriage. I can find plenty of photos of the bodywork and these coaches still running in East Anglia in the late 40's/early 50's but I simply can't find anything to show which wheels were braked, brake fittings, battery/dynamo fittings etc.
I would really appreciate any information, sources of diagrams etc. to help with this.
Thanks in advance

Hi
Does anyone know if the Aardvark Products JP100 Point machine is still available anywhere? I've got 4 installed at the moment, picked up off ebay, and they are so much better than the Fulgurex and ECM ones I also have installed.
Thanks

Thanks Pete - very helpful. I've made a few kits so I will probably give the Ace a go.

I need a J7 or J69 for my Norfolk based 1950's layout - King's Lynn shed had a number during this period. Has anyone made the Ace Products J67/J69 kit? Does anyone know of any other kits? Any comments gratefully received.

Spent the last hour + installing and getting Wine and Winebottler to run - finally achieved it after several false starts. Doesn't seem to like installing Templot as an .app, but is happy to run the programme directly as an .exe file.

SAdly Templot only works on PC, not Mac OS?

Thanks for the info and sorry for the tardy reply - been working overseas, now back home to track building again. The layout space is quite small, hence the need for 3 way point and is now located on two walls of my study/office. Really annoying is that I can't re-use the large radius points, slips etc. from my old double garage sized layout.

Cheers - Same issue - no pictures appearing, so can't tell - have to phone.

Hi All
I need to build a 3 way asymmetric point (7mm, O gauge) for a new layout and I need a track template to build over - does anyone know a source for one of these and any other track templates?
Ex GNR/LNER 6 wheel coaches - info needed

Thanks Edwardian - really useful. They had a lot of tweaks to keep them running as late as the 50's as far as I can make out.
