    New BLT

    Now I am really hungry!
  2. Go to the Tower models website. They have a link that brings up the templates on each point. Still works for curved as I just tried it. Paul
  3. I did a year (in around 96/7 I think), Bristol branch. Paul
  4. Definitely save them Mr P. Makes me feel normal...ish seeing someone else going through it! Paul
  5. I used this video to good effect to show my son how they worked.
  6. The last time I looked , Plymouth was in Devon, Bristol is in the county of Bristol and there are no shops in Somerset. The point I was trying to get across was that that it's a chain of model shops that successfully sales from the high Street.
  7. Antics have several shops dotted around, as well as their warehouse/shop in stonehouse. Paul
  8. I just typed Peco into my browser, clicked on the link and all seems fine to me. If anything it's really quick compared to previous. Paul
  9. I think it's more visual impact using the money than figures on paper. Paul
  10. I find the ones from Aldi and Lidl are of great quality at a cheap price. Paul
  11. Or does the engine keep moving until it eventually stops?
  12. I like C, undecided about a Siding removal though. Paul
  13. I thought those sidings didn't sit well. Looks alot better now they have a curve away from the main line. Happy New Year Paul
  14. What about Warships as quoted in the picture? ( I can't tell either way)
  15. Zooming in, it does look like the third one has heat haze from the exhaust. Probably just a blur. Could they have worked in multiple?
  16. There is an argument for DRS. Set up in 1995 primarily to move spent fuel from nuclear power stations. Paul
  17. National power class 59/2's. Drax and Puma 60's. Paul
  18. Presumably from the steamy they replaced as it had an AWS fault?
  19. Or can you try another decoder to see if you have the same issue? Paul
  20. Thanks fir yesterday replies. Another question. Presumably (for example, a class 37) were to come on shed, had half a tank of fuel, this would go on the fuel road ready for filling. Would this happen regardless how much fuel it arrived with or would the yard crew decide if it was worth filling up ie, used mostly on local trips? Or do all engines get topped up just in case they are called away further afield? Thanks Paul
  21. This may be somewhere else on here but can't see for looking. I'm interested in knowing if diesels are shut down whilst refuelling or if they left idling away. Obviously as a car driver, when you refuel you have to switch off, but didn't know if this is the same for the bigger beasts. Paul
  22. The blue 08 station pilot at Bristol Temple Meads always had a railfreight liveried brake van whilst shunting parcels stock around the station area. Until it got painted parcels livery along with an 08. I do have lots of pictures from the early 90's somewhere, looking worn and faded, but on slides and are stored away whilst I'm refurbishing my man cave. If and when I can get to them I'll post them up for you. Paul
  23. I've always thought Peco track to be pretty good with enough variety out there to make most Layouts. But seeing the changes you've made to your layout/points has made a massive difference and changed my mind completely. Well done for being brave enough to do this on already completed track. And thank you for inspiring a rethink on pointwork. Looking forward to seeing trains run again soon. Paul
