I believe the best response at this point is, “it’s your train set”. So go for it, if it makes you happy, then do it.

Sounds about right. I'm thinking of adding 2 more engines, (Nos. 8 & 9). If I do then I will use a hudwell clarke kit from Hardy's Hobbies & a plain black Hunslet 16in 0-6-0ST from Rapido Trains or a Hudswell Clarke Victory Class, I probably will not add them as I do not know what I would call them.

P.S the 2P is for goods services.

Hi Dan. An interesting project that gives you room for some flexibility. Your loco choices sound good but I have to wonder about the LMS 2P. They led comparatively long lives and given the often dodgy track on light railways might not be very happy there, plus your Terrier should do for such passenger services as you might choose to offer. You have not mentioned a time period, that might also be key for dictating what stock would be available as surplus to requirements for the bigger companies.

My reason is that the 2P is one of my top 3 favourite engines.

The reason for there not being a time period is because I am modelling a light railway from a fictional country - im sorry if that makes me look crazy.
