  1. I hope I can help. Discontinued about 25 years ago now. Yes very nice models in their day. Frank & his Wife selling the kits at 0 gauge shows. I saw him at I recall Shepshed School shows. His last kit was a nice BR fish van. The range seem to be amazingly selling on Ebay at £70 these days. There was a company that I recall had the tooling & set up a web site to produce them later or may just have sold on the then surplus stock. ABS models cast the white metal underframes for the models. Peter IF I could actually get through the shed door I would have dug a few finished models out & photographed them. Could be my Easter challenge there for you
  2. Today's latest modern image wagon announcement from DRS. On their way to a railway yard near you. Delivered from a Derbyshire wagon works ! A long rake of DRS branded VTG
  3. (St. P.) Its still there & turned to stone. It was my get off station in London from Derby or Nottingham & regret (as we all do) not taking in more of the place & photographing our Peaks there.
  4. from a Western ? Well it says it is ! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/285585132342?_
  5. hello, is there a 'quick link' to this please, thanks Peter seems there is an article also in model railway enthusiast July 1997 ?? I like a good read.
  6. Hello, The ''ships wheel'' what am I looking for in the photos please? Always ready to learn / see something new. My thoughts are a hand brake wheel on the tender. Thanks, Peter
  7. You say this but I have seen trains from Masbrough , South Yorkshire, to Cardiff Tidal from above on a road bridge & the wagons loads where clearly full of crushed tin cans. which left a very unpleasant smell in the air on passing.
  8. when our Moon or Planetary exploration is undertaken, steel with thus be manufacture there, a bit like our old ''British Empire'' days, the ships thus transporting the finish materials will be the stumbling blocks as these will also have to be made there, but on arrive can be scrapped & put in the recycling furnaces. l was brought up in the shadows of the Blast Furnaces of Stanton Iron Works in Ilkeston ! . made famous this year with the Hornby Coke wagons.. Plus holiday in Porthcawl for the last 5 years for obvious reasons. Peter
  9. Did a falling tree hit the train. Compared to a train hitting a fallen tree, & you need to see the size of the tree to fully understand the incident.
  10. How strange you ask. The company I attend for weekly payments has just had a coolant tank assembled & it too the same design & the panels are made of moulded GRP material some things never change. Peter
  11. Sad then, that you do not all see the woolly cat face jumpers. They look so real. But very large. Lucky I used above the word CAT !
  12. Hi. as 3D printed if you ask they may print out at the scale you actually require. I purchased a model via ebay & asked & got the required scale. You can ask them, Peter
  13. Who are Ironmink please. Google seems no help. Thanks Peter
