  1. Slight difference as their photos of trains and track are Triang or Triang based with old Bec/Gem kits etc lol
  2. Surprisingly most new members on the FB TT page are all Tri-ang and a few of them are youngsters. There are not many who have joined into 14.2. My thoughts were if developing a point that Peco H0m rail could be used and there would be no issues. I have 5 Lincoln-Loco RTR models and all of them, including the class 37, will run on Tri-ang track, including small radius curves as well as Peco. Garry
  3. It would be nice if some were done to Tri-ang standards, there are far more people with Tri-ang/12 mm than 14.2 and it would save modifying Peco ones.
  4. Following on from Robert, the society does sell some good second hand models but very few are 14.2. Now and again a loco, some coaches and wagons do appear though. I have to say the with a small handful of kits then plenty of 3D printed bodies I have over 100 different classes of British outline locos, the oldest being a GNR Stirling Single. Mine are 12mm and a lot of the 3D bodies are from Lincoln-Locos which I fit on a Tri-ang chassis wherever I can. Apart from a small handful of excellent rtr diesels that appeared late last year you will have to make your own chassis but I have no idea what the situation for parts is as I make my own etched chassis's to suit Tri-ang or Romford wheels and where possible use a Tri-ang XT60 motor. On the wagon front the society does have a very good selection of kits, especially Parkside but you do need wheels, I fit the bodies on Tri-ang wagon chassis's. So, there is a lot of loco and wagons around but no idea about coaches as I use Tri-ang or a handful of made up bought ones second hand. Garry
  5. There was also an article in March BRM about using Tri-ang TT chassis's in modern 3D bodies. Garry
  6. Due to some videos being embedded into inappropriate ones I have started to disable that facility on them which means they cannot be seen here but are still available on YouTube. Garry
  7. Here is the second RTR loco from Lincoln-Locos, class 37, having its first run on the main line. Garry
  8. The Std 4 coming along nicely with the new Railtec lining transfers. Only the crest is Fox, the rest including smokebox and bunker numbers are Railtec. These are TT, 3mm, scale. Garry
  9. I am very impressed with what Steve does, and the timescales. I model in TT (3mm) which itself is a lot smaller market than 00 or N but Steve has excelled. Initially I used the standard excellent cabside numbers but then started to enquire about having his 3D transfers and MT lining reduced for 3mm. Steve worked on this and for a few months the 3D plates have now been available and arriving within a few days, today the lining has also appeared and looks to be another excellent product. Most of these all have variations like the smokebox numbers with 3 different coloured backgrounds and lined/unlined. You cannot fault this service. Garry
  10. This is the email I use and got a reply about an hour later, Steve is very good at replying. Railtec Transfers <railtecmodels@gmail.com> Garry
  11. Isambard Kingdom Brunel finished with Railtec 3D transfers for cabside and smokebox numbers, Kings X nameplates, proper copper chimney and metal bogie and tender wheels fitted.

  13. Some more TT scale 3D numberplates, thanks Steve.
  14. Looks very nice, well done. I maybe tempted to do one sometime. It is a pity you did not get to motorise it but still nice to be sat on a line in the loco shed.
