Hello all
im wondering if it would be possible for someone to quote or point me in the right direction to have a Scania unit 3D printed in 1/76.
I would be willing to supply a donor model for you to work from, this would be in scale 1/32 (see picture).
If this is achieved or anyone has any ideas where I need to go about getting this done, It’ll be great to hear from you.
Thanks -

That’s interesting info, thank you.
What locomotives did you drive?
What routes where you signed off on? -
Hello all.
It’s often made me wonder what are the costs involved in running a rail tour.
Does anyone have any info on this?
From hiring the stock and locos, network rail permission, staffing, etc.
I know West Coast Railways and LSL own most there stock and locos? So this cost isn’t a factor to them.
But in general, after ticket sales and then all the out goings, how much cash is left in the pot?
Thanks.

Hello all
Ive always been interested in livery variations.
Does anyone have any interesting pictures of HSTs over the years running in a mix and match livery formation?
Thanks

Interesting to read people’s thoughts and experiences on this.
Thanks for all the replies.
Just to throw a curve ball in, how about the sleeper services? The Scottish one that splits numerous times, there must be a plenty of staff aboard that.

Hello
After reading the sad news about recent events in Scotland it got me wondering how many staff are onboard the average long haul routes around the country.
I know local routes typically have a driver and conductor with someone pushing the food trolley if available.
But, on your Voyagers, Pendolinos, HSTs, 91s etc.. the real mile munchers... how many staff are on there?
Thanks.

Thanks mate, when I’m on there next I’ll try find you

Hello
I’m currently working on the Oxford Diecast Eddie Stobart trailer.
I’m trying to model it with the curtain pulling back and in the yard being loaded/unloaded.
Has anyone had any luck modelling a pulled back curtain in this scale?
Thanks, Matt

Maybe they aren’t in order and it is pretty hard to see how it picks up speed, but they seem to be missing coaches D and A from the formations?

Hello all.
MB Scale Models is my current small business I run through eBay offering easy and cheap ideas to improve the realism of layouts.
Though as of last night I started a website through godaddy.
At the moment the page has a “shop” function, though this will be removed once the one month trial finished and will link direct to my eBay account.
If anyone wants any info on the products I sell, the webpage itself or using godaddy I’d love to hear any feedback.
Thanks,
Matt

Hi all
I’ve never really had much interest in USA trains in the past, but stumbled across a picture of what looks like new Chevy Vega cars being transported and have never seen anything like it.
Surely the cars had to be redesigned to keep the oil in the right places, engine.. Diff.. gearbox etc.
Did any other cars get transported in this way?
Love to find out more information in this.
Thanks. Matt

Hello
I thought the branch line at Newton Abbot was out of use, didn’t it get flooded bad, the corner was deemed to tight or was the track in a bad state?
But, on April 7th a Colas 70 was photographed going past Dawlish with empty log wagons heading for Newton Abbot.
Anyone got info if the branch is back in regular use? Thanks, Matt

Surprised they haven’t done the class 800 and some sort of freightliner wagon.
