Been a busy year. I build a power supply to run DCC, the point motors, the lights for the layout and the lights hidden behind the beams.
New locos include:
72xx (Hornby)
63xx (Dapol)
28xx (Hornby)
Lots of new rolling stock also. More photos to come later as I've got a lot done lately.

Once the seep motors are in I'll start on the dcc items and build a control panel for the points. I'll also reinstate the double loop to run the trains and complete more tests.
So far I've tested it on dc with my new 28xx, my old 28xx, 47xx night owl, and the king. All ran well and smooth. I did find that an old coach with large steel wheels caused a short on a few points so I'll change the wheels on this.

Well after a lot of work I have started getting the station area down. I drilled holes for cables and the point motors, installed the insulated joiners as I'm using electro frog and have now tested the line and the engines run smoothly. I still need to raise the double slips as they are code 75 but I'll do this when my rail joiners arrive.

Yeah I've since discovered that with the 47xx the issue was the front bogie not moving enough as it got caught on the chain. I've removed the chain and it's running way better on the inside radius.
I've just added an extra board to give me more depth one end so I'm having an engine shed / turntable yard. I can still reach into the back board corner.

Does anyone know what happened to the photos? I'm about to build the same double shed and the photos would really help. They don't seem to load.
Thanks
