  1. I'm having to sell items from my layout due to illness and I do research before I list them at a reasonable price with a best offer option. People know what they'd like to spend and it makes for a much more civilised way of buying/selling but you still get people chancing their arms with ridiculous offers

  2. Just wondering if anyone else has fallen foul of accurscale and partially payment method for one of their new deltics.

I placed an order paid a deposit and signed an onerous agreement to pay the balance by instalments. Without warning they cancelled the contract and said the deposit would be refunded (still waiting!).

It turns out that there was insufficient time to complete the instalments prior to delivery. The next day they updated their website to this effect ie after I had placed my order.

Accurascale now deny that a contract was in place and have not honoured my order.

There customer service has left me with a despondent taste and I gave yo say I'm not impressed with them which bus a shame as I was excited by their plans.

Has anyone else had this problem with them?

My main gripe is that the locomotive was not reserved for me and their complete detail of a contract being in place. Any thoughts please?

  3. No idea why the above popped up but I couldn't delete it!

Sorry Mallard but your answer was vague. Did you mean the 2 amp will be sufficient or the 5 amp?

I'm planning on running Heljan class 33, Bachmann class 159 and 117 DMU and a couple of others at the same time. Will this be too much for the 2amp?

Railmaster can record and allow a user to modify programs which will follow a sequence of timed events, which could be seen as automatic control of a sort. E.g. running locos for speed and direction, operating functions, operating points and signals and applying conditional events

  5. Hi,

I'm just moving from a mix of analogue and DCC (no they weren't connected) to wholly DCC with 3 ovals and several sidings. I intend to generally run 3/4 locos/DMUs on the ovals (maybe occasionally a couple more for short periods) and maybe some shunting. Will the 2 amp NCE power cab be sufficient or will I need the 5 amp version?

I'm not too worried about powering points at this time.

    Thanks for any advice

    Chris
