  1. A few more photos I found lurking in an album, if anyone is interested.

Again, Westbury Depot, March 1989. At one time, every road, on the depot, had a line of loco's stabled over the weekends but this reduced considerably after the introduction of Yeoman's class 59's.

  2. It's later on Wednesday 24th October 1990 and "Dusty Bin" has reached Westerleigh Refuse Transfer station. After two run rounds and the shove back in, with the four container wagons it's brought from Stoke Gifford. Scan29.jpeg.f58f7f9716ed79665d58e2a63c5b0fbe.jpeg

The night has drawn in and it's started raining

As soon as the last loaded container has been lifted onto the final wagon the crew will work the train back to Stoke Gifford, with yet another run round in Yate Middle and attach, the four wagons, back on to the remaining wagons it left on Stoke Gifford Up reception. The loco will then run light to Bath Road Depot for fuel and water and the crew will be off home.
