    Stand corrected - I left out the word "designed" after the word Baldwin............  And 3A & 4A could also be considered "built by Baldwin"?  Given they were assembled from spare parts at Newport by the Victorian Railways......

    Strictly speaking Kevin is correct - 15A was built at our Newport workshops but are often referred to as Baldwin tanks due to the design (not as Newport's or the like) or just Na's .  The Victorian Railways (VR) took delivery of 1A & 2A (Vauclain Compound) assembled 3A & 4A from supplied parts and then built the subsequent locomotives as non-compound copies - much to Baldwin's displeasure...........
