Time for Kernow or EFE Rail to knock out an O2 in LSWR livery. It doesn't have to be absolutely correct, after all the coaches won't be.

Ditto for the Beattie Well Tank - both that and the O2 would look beautiful in LSWR livery and, who knows, if demand is there the manufacturers might see fit to do the necessary tooling tweaks for perfect accuracy. 70-80% accurate would be a lot better than nothing for now. Indeed, some gate leg stock in LSWR would be lovely too, even without the modified ends.

The Thirds have two numbers for all except the NBR, which has a Composite instead of a second Third.

Still makes for short rakes of coaches though compared with the Genesis offering ...... a shame for the LSWR for example with Radials, M7's, T9, Terrier, etc waiting for something to pull. Still, I suppose it's early days and there will be more to follow going forwards :-)

  3. Perhaps I've misinterpreted but it looks like Hornby are doing only one number for each coach type (albeit with lit and unlit versions). A bit of a shame if so as I'm sure many wold buy more to make up a longer rake than 4 or 5 carraiges, as is facilitated by Hattons, especially with liveries like NBR and LSWR which are further down the line with the Genesis range. That said, the numbers are quite small and unobtrusive, but surely it can only increase sales to have some variety?
