  1. The product page says there is one included (https://www.accurascale.com/collections/mark-2-coaches/products/derby-rtc-test-service-vehicles). A Twin pack of RTC Liveried Mark 2B Coaches, comprising: QXA ADB 977528 (Ex-FK) QXA ADB 977529 (Ex-FK) Packs limited to just 500 sets including a numbered Limited Edition Certificate and special presentation packaging.
  2. My research suggests yes to both. I've collected some photos here. https://www.flickr.com/photos/peterdaniel/galleries/72157720230611599/
  3. Also notice the health and safety measures taken for the scaffolding - 4 little cones!
  4. And also 37409 in large logo (my photo below) The DRS branded coaches are Mk2E and Mk2F and all (?) have been released by Hornby in two batches.
  5. I thought they were introduced from 2014-2019? I hope they were because I am modelling 2018. https://www.ltsv.com/rd/photo_view.php?id=5658
  6. Sorry please could you clarify - if the model is placed on a DCC powered track and a decoder is not fitted there will be no lighting at all?, or the lighting circuits will be damaged?, or it will work as per the DIP switches? Thanks!
  7. Fun things happen on the 28th July... 🙂 28 July 2018 Travel behind 37409 and 37419 between Norwich and Great Yarmouth on Greater Anglia service. 28 July 2020 Place Accurascale pre-order for my first OO loco, 37409. 28 July 2023 Collect the delightful Accurascale 37409 from local parcel shop and complete my slightly fictitious Norwich Coach Sidings layout.
  8. Maybe of interest, I've noticed that the model is missing the 'zero injuries' stickers next to the doors which appeared in August 2015. Additionally the lights were updated to LED in October 2017.
  9. I had a very problematic 68018. The speed was inconsistent and it would often refuse to move after changing direction. Same problem on DC and DCC. It was replaced by the retailer and now works as expected.
  10. For the R30098 GWR powercars which go with these coaches: 43004 "Caerphilly Castle" named December 2019 43155 "Rougemont Castle" named March 2020 I haven't yet found a photo of the GW09 coach set running with these named powercars.
  11. I believe these are next GWR Mk3 releases, currently showing as due Summer 2023 GW09 Coach D : R4915E GWR, Mk3 Sliding Door Trailer Standard (TS), 48127 Coach C : R4895B GWR, Mk3 Sliding Door Trailer Standard Disabled (TSD), 48126 Coach B : R4915D GWR, Mk3 Sliding Door Trailer Standard (TS), 48125 Coach A : R4896B GWR, Mk3 Sliding Door Trailer Guard Standard (TGS), 49109
  12. @nat37670 Thanks for this information, could I ask a follow up? How correct would this be for 1998-1999? Did fGW have only 4 rakes available?
  13. I’m intrigued by this idea, did Anglia run the DBSOs with a 47 to Great Yarmouth? Was there always an AC loco on the other end? Could anyone point me in the direction of typical formations for 1997-1999? Thanks!
  14. I'm not sure, I certainly don't plan to start drilling holes and I don't want to make a mess trying to glue them. So I will probably contact them but depends how easy they are to fit if I will actually do it!
  15. Being late to the party I only own 68016 and 68018 so at least they match but it does feel like I'm missing out a little compared to earlier batches. In 2022 they are incredibly good value for money though.
  16. Cab hand rails are also not fitted on 68016 or 68018 from the current batch.
  17. I have recently started using the black Z21 and I was wondering if it's ok/normal to leave the unit in STOP (track power off) mode at all times when the layout isn't in use for driving trains? There doesn't seem to be another option except unplugging it from the wall socket but when I do this the loco function states are not remembered (ie, the loco lights don't come back on when the system is re-powered). Just wondering what other users do. Thanks.
  18. I'm now wondering if it would be unfair to try and return the Zimo to the retailer as it only fails in one specific way and maybe only in my specific setup. I think I'll probably just keep until my next 21pin loco arrives and see what happens then.
  19. Removed the capacitors and inductors which didn't make it any better or worse. Fitted a new Lenz Silver21+ decoder and the noise has gone.
  20. KMS Railtech had it in their Advent sale, and may put it back on sale again at some point.
  21. I have left all of the original capacitors and inductors in the loco, would it be worth removing these?
  22. Yes, in terms of the accuracy I might just have too high expectations. It's accurate at slower approach speeds and the stopping distance is only 75cm.
