Another of this season's must haves.
Why is the water crane looking brand new? Why is it there at all?

Oh that made me chuckle... Where are they going to put the water?

Err, LNWR Coal Tank? I don't think so.
Another seller who doesn't know what he has got and is rather wide of the mark with the description of it's condition.
I love that it includes a blowtorch nozzle cleaner.

I wonder how much of this tat ends up on E-bay?
Jeez, he is as naively chirpy and optimistic as Sam's Trains. The fact that he is trying to think of a use for absolutely every last bit of rubbish in the box.
I was particularly headbutting the desk when he had connected a 1.2v light up to a 12v controller and wondered why it melted and still intends to use the LED for something or even use it as a broken light!!!!
He strikes me as the kind of person who maybe the first person ever to buy a second box from them.- 5

Early 20th century B.R.(W) closet sign. Whoever faked that sign clearly hasn't a clue about railway history.

Here's an expensive 'GWR' oddity, supposedly found in a disused railway station in Swindon! Curious language use in the item descriptions?
Two things...
1. That is the price you pay for a fully engineered 5" or 7.5" working steam model. Not just a static toy!
2. You only need the bit before the ? as the link https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/233869013183 will work the same ;-)- 2

On the topic of Sam's trains, be claims that it costs him £25 to 3D print a body of a small locomotive.
This probably uses the same amount of plastic...

Yours for only £59.50: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/204124568715?hash=item2f86c5bc8b:g:1uMAAOSwMaljTnNO
Quote on item description: "Used: An item that has been previously used. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear, but is fully operational and functions as intended. This item may be a floor model or an item that has been returned to the seller after a period of use. See the seller’s listing for full details and description of any imperfections." - that second paragraph would be slightly less-than-accurate and that very last part perhaps a little bit of an understatement.🤔
Apparently it has PARTS MISSINGIE

Someone has just spent over £40 on a loco with zinc rot that can never be repaired.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/394310198766And another one, it does appear that it is only the Cheltenham model has fallen foul of the rot.
I picked one up for £33 and I have just spent £49 on R2744 which is a BR Black "Blundell's" to serve as a doner. It is criminal that Hornby just walk away from this with zero accountability.- 3
