The 'Coral has had new frames cut and manufactured. The frames are waiting to be delivered to GWS Didcot for restoration of the wagon.

A major step has been taken in the restoration of GWR 41723 'Coral A' wagon for plated glass. New frames have been manufactured and are waiting to be transported to GWS Didcot for the wagon to start the long process of being restored.

The first steps have been undertaken towards the restoration of the GWR Coral at GWS DRC.
Drawings are being/have been acquired in order to have cut two new frames for the wagon.

Originally built 1902 Diagram K15 Lot 1000 as a Dean Parcel Van.
Converted 1944 to Generator Van Diagram K29 Lot 1732
Then to Diagram M32

Now in 2021 The GWR 813 Preservation Fund has taken steps to obtain Charitable Status.
The Restoration of The Fund's Coral Wagon based at Didcot Railway Centre is progressing.
