It will be interesting to see the haulage capacity of the forthcoming GWR 57xx. I have a rake of 36 Bachmann 16t mineral wagons ready to haul.

Speaking of retools you missed the 03 & 43. My thoughts are a retooled 08/09 considering the variations in livery & locos itself .I say it would be commercially viable. & yes i am aware of the Hornby model .

totally agree with your statement, I propose the best way forward is to wait for the customers to start posting photo's of their purchases and we take it from there.

A 22ton IRON ORE wagon ,yes its duplicated by other RTR manufacturers . But so is the 16t mineral wagon.

That certainly was a good bit of PR that event . A first time to my knowledge a RTR manufacture has held an event devoted ta a particular loco. & no mine hasn't arrived But the floods have gone & the delivery van can get through.

I ordered the same loco and, like you, I haven't had the payment taken. That was the reason I made a call yesterday to confirm that my order was still live with them and they confirmed that they were yet to take the payment but would be doing so in due course.

Yes the first batch of D7599 & 25324 are being packed for dispatch. As i found when i enquired 09-01-2024.

Hopefully the first batch are at the packing & dispatch stage according to previous posts....Only one snag for me. Where i live the area is flooded so the agony goes on.
