I'm not quite sure who you think you are. You have made this personal, which is not abiding by RMWeb customs.
Are you the (supplier who cannot be named) thought police.
It's not a tantrum. I expect many customers are feeling the same as me, but I have the right to air my frustration re the poor service.
I have not phoned (the supplier who cannot be named), so as to let them have free time to get packaging. However as I did email and have had no reply, then I am not even sure if my order will be fullfilled.
It seems that you are following me around on RMWeb and are having a go at me at every opportunity. The very thing that you are complaining about.
Sadly this bullying is a negative aspect of what is usually a great source of interaction with other modellers.
Have a nice day!
I am not following you around on RMWeb, you are posting the same boring digs at Phil Sutton and SLW all over the place. It's getting tedious. I haven't made this personal in the slightest, like you have with SLW.
Phil is a perfectionist, I expect he is either not happy with the quality of the sound decoders, or they have failed to arrive. How he conducts his business is well, his business. No amount of you taking constant snidey digs at him will change it.
As for who I am, I am just an adult who is happy to wait for a quality product to be delivered, along with the silent majority.

No
Proves my point then. Taking your tantrum to other manufacturers threads really shows how immature you are.

At least with Accurascale we know that they will get to us within a month of landing in the UK, unlike another company (who cannot be named), who must have lost their packing tape. Over 4 months and counting.
You really do act like a spoilt child, bringing it up at every opportunity. Grow up.

Give it a rest, Accurascale is a company with full time staff. SLW is 2 people with full time jobs, doing model railways as a side line. Victims of their own success , certainly. They are honouring the price set years ago. They can only do this by not taking on staff, so cut them some slack and just be patient like the rest of us.

I was starting to worry, but it seems everyone who ordered a sound fitted 25324 are waiting for theirs too. Oh well, back to drooling over my Cavalex 56.

I have a Heljan 3441 33025 Sultan which I wish to install with DCC sound. This is the more recent upgraded body shell version. Previously I used a replacement battery box / fuel tank speaker enclosure from DC kits to house a speaker, but these appear to no longer be available, so my question is, what speaker have people used inside their 33's as space is very limited. I intend to fit a legoman sound decoder.
Cheers, Steve.

Well I took the plunge and ordered Anthony Manor which arrived today. Whilst admiring it earlier I realised the water filler cap on the tender is hinged and opens! Now that is attention to detail.
Just superb.

Trying the Wanted section rather than Ebay topics might elicit a response.

I received W1013 today. Absolutely stunning model, and absolutely no issues with the shade of BR Blue.
Look forward to the 2 others I have on order.

i have the slinden book, and it only says "Incandescent gas lighting , with roof pipes, was fitted from new to those om Lots 1133 and 1162 and to the remainder in 8/09.
The only picture i can find showing the roof is on page 34 of Wild Swan Publications book of the Calne Branch by Colin G Maggs . it shows only 2 lamps.
Nice kit, must finish mine one day, been part built for at least 10 years, just needs the roof painting ,fitting, and lettering applying!

Have you contacted Bachmann themselves to see if they have spares?
-
Have you asked them to provide pictures of their weathering? They are very helpful.

Not much mention of Salopian models on here. They have been operating out of the Market hall in Shrewsbury. but has outgrown his stall and is moving into his own shop, 28a Castle street, opening 10th Jan. No connection with the retailer, but nice to see a shop back in town, and I wish the venture all the best,

They sold out a few weeks ago, if not earlier. Blue SFXs are like the proverbial rocking horse droppings.Well i hope Bachmann take heed of the Blue & Green SFX versions popularity and put them into production again. I dithered about pre ordering, and missed out.

Probably not the right thread, but more likely the right target audience. . I 'm slowly working my way through building my first Intentio 7mm kit, the modern bothy. My thoughts have turned to how to finish the flat roof, and how others have done theirs. I have come up with using wet and dry paper covering, coating with suede coat, or even using aircraft modellers tissue and dope. What have others successfully used?

Think I might get some unofficial nameplates made up for my 122. Torn between,"Suez" and "Ever Given"

In between tinkering with my 1:1 scale military vehicle, I have also been painting up a couple of FV432'S. Must say they do look the part.
