Hi,
Ten Commandments models do some signage for their warehouse range, they might have what you need.

Hi Tricky,
here he is a photo of one of my connectors.
the blue and yellow wires go to my switch8 controller which throws the point blades.
the red and black go to the track/bus wire
the green to the frog on the point.
it does matter which way the blue and yellow goes to the switch8 or other controller to throw the point blades, but a quick test beforehand will sort that out, good luck.

Hi Tricky,
Im so glad you are back working on Tewkesbury as your modelling is so inspirational.
I see your building mock ups are made of 6mm mdf.
Am I correct in thinking you then apply plastikard to these or are your buildings structured differently?
Thanks,
Paul

Also looks like they are DC only versions, all the DCC / sound fitted versions will be in the main consignment coming by sea
I spoke to the Dapol guys at the Telford show. The DCC sound chips and speaker are fitted here in the UK so should be coming out within a week or two.

Should have added based on Perth and all points north.... but also work on my railway, my rules so happy to hear about anything further south....
Dundee any good?

What seems to have escaped this forum was the inverted 57xx prototype on the Dapol stand at the GCR show, running off a battery to show the working inside Stephenson valve gear. I understand that this is to be made in self-lubricating plastic.

I found this on YouTube, around 8.30 there is footage of the Dapol stand showing a decorated Jinty and the inverted Pannier.

. There is a photo on the Dapol jinty development page courtesy of railway modeller. Looks good so far...There was some sort of update on Farcebook last week, but I scrolled past it because I was looking for something else. When I went back today I could find no mention of it there or here. It looked like a more developed sort of test shot, but seems to have vanished ... perhaps it was just the Jinty Celeste Did anyone else see it, or copy it?

Hi GN,
I enjoy watching the developments to this layout.
As for the bookshelves, how about a sunny P'boro sky blue blanket?

Mine too.
Replacement came and was fine.
It did make me think about going to the store and picking it up directly rather than gamble in future.
Just don't fancy the 2-3 hour round trip.
