No work on the layout of late as I have been trying to get the fleet complete. Last loco is on its way a Dutch Class 37 for engineering trains. Very heavily work stained 47245 "The Institute of Export" is seen in South Wales from Tinsley more than likely working Speedlink services. Even the ballast is cleaner than this loco.

Railfreight 47245 arrived in the post today pretty battered so will have to see how it runs. Dent to the roof and all buffers broken.

TTS decoder Fitted to Class 60086, pretty happy with the sound for the price, may look to improve the speaker. Also is stops the body clipping into place so a smaller one is needed.

Second Class 60 in two days has arrived in South Wales, this time in the form of 090. Eventually this will be rebranded into a Trainload Metals loco. Seen with sister loco 60086 and then pulling finished steel in VGA,s.

Nice to see 090, I should have one arriving today to link up with 086 that just arrived, although 090 will become a South Wales steel pool loco I think.

Trainload Coal 60086 Schiehallion takes a break between duties.

Three new locomotives on the way to South Wales over the next few days. First to arrive is heavyweight Class 60086 in Trainload Coal. Seen stabled with sister loco 60062. Sound chips are on order. Soon the class 60 allocation will be 4 with 3 class 56’s so plenty of power available.

Thank you, Looking to get on with some more work soon, still got the fencing wire to add. Been away for a few weeks and enjoying the weather on the weekends.

A short clip of 60062 arriving with empty hoppers before backing back into the loading facility.

Got fed up of fixing fence posts, been up since 5am. Had a little play instead with my sound fitted locos. Bit loud In The attic with them all running. Class 60062 In Trainload Petroleum livery brings the empty HAA’s whilst trainload coal 37898 makes it way into the service depot for fuel.

And fence post 220 goes in. Then I get the joy of threading wire through 880 holes.

A Railfreight 37 makes its way down the Valley past the lineside fencing being installed. Why so far from Thornaby depot, I don't know......

66068 makes it up the Valley with its train of empties. Still lots to do on the layout. Prior to playing with trains today I glued in about 200 fence posts, another 200 should arrive tomorrow in the post.

Another test run of the recently TTS Fitted Bachmann 66. Pulling a rake of HAA hoppers up the Valley for loading. I have to say I’m impressed by the sounds and the 30 sound functions. Having to sound its horn as it approaches a crossing.

Hello. A bit of a play with newly TTS Fitted 66. For the price I’m very impressed. Just a rough knocked together video sorry, will try to get the tripod set up one day and get some better footage.

Replacement TTS sound decoder arrived today. Just fitted and all sounds good. For the price I’m very happy as it’s for a loco I don’t run much, may upgrade speaker in the future. Fingers crossed this will work longer than the last. need to clean the track and give it a run.

I just need a Coal Sector Class 37 with a loaded train of HAA wagons.
