  1. McC, slightly off subject but recently I've received a number of verification codes from Shopify when I have not knowingly been using Shopify at that time, are these verifications concerned with the API issue you are trying to resolve? Many thanks.
  2. Oh dear, just got a red one from Rails which will be joining my Railfreight Red Stripe and Coal Sector locos. Must stop this late night buying......
  3. Back in 1955 started watching trains from my grandfathers bedroom window, from one of these windows overlooking the approach to Lowestoft Central (as it was then): Granddad was a fitter at Lowestoft Shed (32C) and we (my younger brother and me) always spent our summer holidays with Dad's parents and spent quite a lot of time when we were not on the beach up in the bedroom watching trains arriving and departing. One day we were taken to the shed to get really close to what was on the shed. In a way Granddad got me into trouble when I got back to school in South East London. One of the teachers asked us what we had been doing during the holidays and I described my visit to the shed telling them that Granddad had explained to me how the "vacum" brake worked. The teacher quickly corrected me saying it was the "vacuum" brake. No I said, it was the "vacum" and an argument followed..... It's interesting that when my brother was born I had been despatched to the grandparents for six months and when I returned home I had gained a new brother and bit of a Suffolk accent but it did not last that long. Watching the trains from the bedroom was what started the interest in trains and has continued to this day. Keith PS: back in 1955 you could easily see the trains from ground level, where the trees are now used to be allotments.....
  4. Royal Mail just delivered my set, power car running round the test track, off to order the sound decoders from Roads & Rails. Now that the London Transport Museum have got their silver ones wonder if EFE/Bachmann will announce some red ones on next months announcements....
  5. Got an email from LTMS yesterday saying that my order is on it's way and will be with me soon but there was no information on how it will get to me. Today I got an email from Feefo on behalf of LTM asking me if I would recommend this item. Advised them I can't do that when I have not received the item...... Keith
  6. Noticed that Roads and Rails have listed a sound decoder for the Booster on their website, have ordered a couple for my CC1 and 20002. Started to fit ordinary decoders in CC1 last night and found it rather difficult to remove the buffers and once that had been done without breaking anything spent quite a bit of time trying to release the screws in the body, whoever fitted them screwed them in nice and tight. Work on CC1 has now paused awaiting for the arrival of the sound decoders from Roads and Rails. Keith
  7. Shipping time from Kernow differs from order to but most of the time it's within a couple of days as I always choose the APC/DPD shipping. Kernow processed my Boosters on 29/12, they were handed to APC on 3/1 and were delivered to me in Folkestone by APC on 4/1. At about 13:25 on 29/12 (the same day!!) I ordered some Peco Festiniog coaches from Kernow which were handed to APC that same day and were delivered to me before 09:00am (found in my lobby when I got up!!) on 30/12. That is some service!! Keith
  8. Yes, the package caught the courier yesterday with APC delivering the package at lunchtime today. Keith
  9. Kernow just advised the my two Boosters have been passed to the warehouse, hopefully they will catch the courier today so should arrive tomorrow. Keith
  10. Seems to be working now, I've got a "thank you" for my order and, just now, got the confirmation email. Now to order a sound decoder from "Roads & Rails"...... Keith
  11. D6702 is on its way.......DPD knows about it as well🙂 Keith
  12. Dave, Interesting to read Chris116's comment about where he was on the date when the photos were taken. I spent most of my working life from 1966 to 1999 in the Far East (Hong Kong, Vietnam, India, Singapore, Bahrain, South Korea and Japan) and quite often work out in which country I was when looking at your fantastic collection of photos. Many thanks, looking forward to many more photos. Keith
  13. Best thing to do would be to go onto the AS website and enter your interest in the decoder. I did this a couple of weeks ago, week or so later got an email that item was available, went on to the website and bingo got the decoder yesterday and loaded it on my ROG 37/6 this afternoon. Also did this Fringford Manor and that turned up yesterday. Keith
