    Ive just started an 11' x 9' 00 Gauge layout 'based' on Goathland. It will be a preserved line running current preserved locos

      Any photos would be most welcome. Im using the Hornby Skaledale buildings & Ive got them in about the right place. Im a member of NYMR & had lots of photos, but my pc crashed before Xmas & I lost a lot. Not had chance to get up there to take some more. If anyone has any of the tracks going into the goods shed & coal drops Id appreciate them. (Especially from the platform side). It's only 'based' on Goathland.       Just come back from the club and made the first couple of baseboards for North of England Line 2 (NoEL 2). This ones set in the 1980's. Blue Diesels running through an urban setting. We're using the same fiddle yard & lighting rig from NoEL 1. NoEL 1 will still continue on the exhibition circuit for a good few years yet though. NO PLANS TO RETITRE IT JUST YET!!

      My '00' layout at home is progressing well. Ive had the soldering iron out!! Been doing the board rail joints onto copper sleepers. I might get round to posting some pics one day!! It's loosly baed on the NYMR. Goathland Station & possibly Grosmont engine shed, with other bits of the NYMR thrown in for good measure!! Struggling for a name..........? Considered Goathmont? But not convinced.....!! Any suggestions most welcome.
