CADs look terrific! Looking forward to seeing the finished product.
Delighted to see the Grand Union route from Stirling to Euston now approved. That's taken an age!
I do hope they don't go down the route of the 22X demu stock. They were knackered in 2005 when I was still at university!
Is there no mileage in using the redundant Nova 3 mkV's, surely they could be used with an 88 or 93 (or converted to run with an ex DB 90)?

It does look good, livery looks excellent.
I have no doubt it will be a good runner.
Regarding shape, and the way it sits on the bogies, Bachmann still has it for me.
I’ll come back to Heljan once the new 86/2’s are released.

Thanks all for the responses. I have now placed an order with A&H for the REE TGV.
Hopefully arriving this year. 🤞
It should be lovely, although will wait for a later version.

Rails of Sheffield have emailed today to say they’re getting their first batch of new 47’s in on the 4th March, so the NSE version should be winding their way to layouts next week. 👍
This threw me as the (Danish?) chap on the Heljan stand at MRS said the NSE version would be out later in the year.
Maybe he picked me up wrong?

As mentioned, Chris is really good to deal with. A wizard with DCC conversions!
A must visit shop for those who have a weakness for anything European.

I did not see that. Fair play, I hope it works for them. Do you think a class 86, 87 or 92 may pop up sooner or later? The fact they run in Eastern Europe could open even more doors for the range.

The NSE class 47 looked good on the Heljan stand at Model Rail Scotland.
Very tempted.

Class 81, 82, 83, 84…
Class 313/4/5 or 316/7/8 EMU family? Also the DC variants.

From Model Rail Scotland . The HST looks and sounds superb . Also Duchess and Staniers . I believe the HST is in the country am]nc imminent
Agreed, the HST looked and sounded well, the class 50 also. The 66 could really help them merge this across their European range via Arnold with some minor tooling modifications.

We had the pleasure of attending Saturday. Really enjoyed it.
Wellpark and Eastfield (can’t get over the scale of it!) really resonated with me, although many others were extremely good. Just needed a bit more time to take it all in.
I was very impressed with the Hornby TT items. The HST, class 50 and the class 66 samples looked very promising.
Purchase wise, I thought there were some bargains to be had. I got a deal on the Locomotion Models stand. A returned class 33/1 with a broken clip in fuel tank/battery box. Replacement parts now ordered from Gaugemaster.
Also picked up a Bachmann Res mk1 BG from the Ellis Clark bargain boxes.
One of the other highlights was meeting Mr Kato!

They really look superb. Very well done to all at Cavalex.
I collect European HO but these are seriously tempting. Might have to grab whatever one is left at Rainbow Railways.

Great show.
Me and my son went along yesterday and really enjoyed it.
Shuri Koya was really nice. Love the Japanese HO stuff.
Great to see Michaelerplatz before it retired.Picked up a lovely ACME Traxx loco from Contikits at a very good price. Could have bought more!…
Those Sutton 25s look amazing!
Loads of great layouts.
Will be back.

Fabulous models these! Really well done to all at Accurascale.
Had a thing for the prototype ever since I went to the Crewe ED open day in 94.
Can’t justify one at the moment, so will wait in hope that others will be released in future.

Have you tried looking at the Roco detailing packs? They did a 72000.
Spares can usually be ordered from Gaugemaster quite easily.

There’s still something about the new tooling that doesn’t quite hit the spot. That a-pillar looks too narrow from the side for a start.

For anyone interested. Just picked up VT class 87019 from Monk Bar model shop in York for £114.99. Think they have another in stock.
-
Is there any update on these? Really looking forward to the GNER version!

This is a magic thread! I have my eye on a Hornby class 60 and Bachmann 47 because of this!

Not sure if this mentioned elsewhere but 87001 is £99 in Hattons at the moment. Couldn’t resist at that money!

Right, can’t pass this up. Just pre-ordered a Strathclyde 320! That’s the birthday treat for myself sorted.
I believe these will be with us shortly?
Also trying to resist a 92…- 1

Bit of a long shot!
Don’t suppose anyone has one of these in a spares box that they would be willing to part with?
Thanks in advance.

This looks fantastic. Been top of the wish list for many years. Intercity and RF will be purchased.
I assume that they are very close. Hopefully a container will be unloaded very soon?

TT Accurascale without the bikes and IoMan.

I was just thinking about the class 92 in TT size! Would be a great statement of intent, and the perfect link model between the UK and the continent. I would buy a few to go with the Hornby 66.
