  1. i am looking to build a loco on an 0-6-0 chassis. however after 3 attempts at getting a working electrotren loco, i am still stuck, seams that the motor is very poor and after about 20 minutes it has seized up and caught fire... and worse taking the decoder with it...

has anyone got any suggestions or news on a fix?

    many thanks

  2. thanks to all the replys, as i have been fairly impressed with the dynamis system *although does have its issues* such as dropping all locos from its memory!

i think i will be leaving the whole dynamis pro thing alone, instead i will save my coins and go for the ESU variant of the product (with the ECoS and ability to run upto 9999 engines (or as Bachman originally said they would)

  3. as the title of this suggests, what does buying the Bachmann Dynamis Pro box do to the DCC system i currently have?

the main questions that i have, and wondered if the wide knowledge of RMweb would be able to answer are:

1, what is the max number of locos on which Dynamis can hold and the max number that dynamis pro can hold?

2, programming track? A: does it now work? the Dynamis (that i can tell doesn't really make a great deal of difference between adding to main track or adding to a programming track

and B: how does this work and is it just me not operating it correctly? and C: will the Pro make it work

3, reading addresses, can it do it, and what benefit will that do to me?

4, cost, is it worth it? no really have Bachmann promised something that they can't provide?

5, is the pro box (or even the standard Dynamis) compatible with the ESU control systems (this being asked due to the product being made by them)

those are my main points, and i am thankful for any answers which are answered, yours Southcoastmtb.
