  1. I'm jealous (grin) even if no-one else is. Wrong scale for me - why did they have to make it in HO (grump, grump) Dennis
  2. Huge earthquake shock in Yorkshire - one of them spent some money. Dennis
  3. Surely should be " every Lidl helps" ? Dennis
  4. Women have probably always suffered from it, simply unrecognised as a separate "disease" , characterised by their normal wish to change things in the seasonal transition in the weather. Only when there was a desire to categorise such things was the change given a name, and recognised that men suffer from it as well. Perhaps Phil, you need to get in the company of other individuals who would give you the impetus to "get out and do sumfing", which would change your perspectives and feelings. This is NOT in any way a criticism, merely a possibly helpful suggestion. Dennis
  5. I could shove my piston in one of her cylinders any time. Dennis
  6. There is a silver birch at the bottom of a neighbours garden, with ALL the leaves gone, except one sprig at the very top, with all its leaves hanging on for dear life. Dennis
  7. That word "pervert" must be one of the most misused words on the Internet. It's applied particularly by any woman bigot who can't understand/stand cross-dressing, and can only associate it with child abuse or similar, and underlines their ignorance and/or stupidity. Dennis
  8. I get my telly licence free next year, so I am of a certain age. I suppose it partly depends on ones mind set. Dennis
  9. Don't know why, but those wheels said "LNWR" to me when I saw them in the photo just now. Dennis
  10. This one goes with the "groan" button - The butcher who sat on the bacon slicer and got all behind with his orders. Found on a stone tablet at Stonehenge. Dennis
  11. It's a welcome sign of tolerance that people who are transitioning MtoF or have transitioned can be spoken of in the feminine gender. What a refreshing change from years ago when they might well have been spoken of in certain quarters as "it". Dennis
  12. Can we wait until the facts are known ? Bandwaggon jumping may be a popular sport, but it adds nothing whatsoever to the accident account. Dennis
  13. I went for a job as a bra fitter, but apparently I need more hands-on experience. Dennis
  14. What a tiresome (an understatement to say the least) state to be in. You have my profound sympathy. Are you getting any real support from the medical profession ? Dennis
  15. The amount of detail in this layout is quite simply outstanding. A key feature to my mind is the thickness of the lattice members, which are so often excessively thick and spoil some excellent layouts, not so in this case. Nicely done sir, and a pleasure to see. Dennis
  16. Most of these photos would be useful to modellers because of the detail they show. Boring ? No way !! Dennis
  17. Saw one carrying an umbrella, that's about it ! Perhaps this month will bring better luck. Dennis
  18. I like the clerestory coaches. May I ask their origins - are they kits or modified originals ? Dennis
  19. Definition of a Texan (by a fellow American) - 10-gallon head occupied by a 2-pint brain ! Dennis
  20. No matter where they are taken; Ron's photos are always a pleasure to peruse. Thank you as always, Dennis
  21. Vintage matchbox toy. "Couldn't test it"! What, with around 45000 sales ? Dennis
  22. Bassett Lowke O Gauge NE Flatrol Bassett Lowke Ltd Boilers Makers Wagon ORIGINAL @ 599.99 Has the world gone totally bonkers ?????????? Dennis (If I move to O gauge will I need a second mortgage or equity release ?)
