  1. The ARC livery looks great a proper mustard colour, should match my class 59 well.
  2. Just had an email from rails about a sound option available. also an option to upgrade a DC order to a sound version which I have done. Baz
  3. I have replaced mine with M4 x 20mm thumb screws from Amazon makes it much easier no need for screwdriver. I think 16mm will fit as well. HTH
  4. I must say I had a red cradle leg missing on a HAA and after a quick email I had 4 spares within 2 days sent to me. What a great service this was and I have no worries that if I have any issues with the 56's they would be sorted out with no hassle. Baz
  5. Oh well i succumbed and had a quick look looks great will give it try when I get home.
  6. Just had my Loadhaul 56 delivered from Rails by DPD Wont have a chance to open yet but look forward to trying it out later. Just finished paying the balance with Rainbow Railways so hopefully will be getting some more soon. Baz
  7. I use a NCE powercab and you can set the handset display from clock to amps drawn. Quite easy to do just a press of a few buttons. Hope this helps. Baz
  8. It looks like I have to send a large number of my 37's back for various motor issues as they are either surging or running very slow and drawing between 0.8 - 1.2 amps. My locos are all boxed away and only come out for an exhibition so I have not had a chance to run these locos for any period of time and am worried that when I do go to use them they won't work. I have reached out to customer service and have been advised that I need proof of purchase and a video of the Loco running. Problem is I don't have a layout at home only a rolling road and it is very hard to pick up on camera the speed at which the loco's are running. Quick question before I do send any back, do I have to remove the cab crews that I have fitted. Regards Baz
  9. I also have the squealing noise on 2 of my Bachmann 37's both SFX versions. 37 034 and the latest release 37 069 which is a bit reluctant to move in reverse. Going pop 069 back to shop and let them have a listen, they have a spare new one to replace if needed. With 37034 was told it could be the controller I was using might not be compatible and Bachmann suggested using one of their own controllers. Doesn't sound right to me I am using a NCE Powercab. I have run it for a good few hours and it definitely has quietened down a bit but you can still hear it without the sound on.
  10. Yes I have had an email from Derails as well to tell me 37 001 and D6702 is ready for collection. Hopefully will get time to pop up Saturday and collect them.
  11. Same as that, just got home from work and saw email. Shame
  12. Just got one as well looks like they have sold out now.
  13. Just wondered if anyone has upgraded the speakers on their sound fitted loco's. If so which ones did you use. Any help would be grateful. Baz
  14. I popped up to Derails Yesterday and picked up 37 305 in Br Blue. I enquired about 37 201 which I have ordered a good while a go and when Dan checked it had a delivery date of July/August. Rails must of got them early. Baz
  15. Hi Steve Mine are the non refurbished 37 026 and 37 051 I will take a video Friday night when I run them on my mates layout Baz
  16. Yes my 37's do the same notch beck and engine goes to idle. To be honest I just kick it back up on the speed and engine noise rises. Baz
  17. Hope not I ordered 026 and 051 with sound back in July 2021 and still haven't had a despatch email. Hopefully will be sent soon Baz
  18. My rake arrived yesterday and have took a couple out to view. They look superb, a welcome addition. I will probably fit Kadee's and weather them. Great service from Rainbow Railways and Revolution Thanks Baz
  19. Just had an email from APC Overnight that they have the parcel so hopefully will be here soon. Baz
  20. Thanks for the reply Vanbasher Was a bit worried about plugging in speaker to PCB but as you say its the only plug there. Works a treat and so easy. I got the Jamie Goodman sound with both wheel slip and cold start which is very good. Might get an A/S one for 419 now just so that I have a slightly different sounding 37 Baz
  21. I have a ESU sound chip to fit to a non sound 37 425 I also have the Accurathrash speaker to fit as well, am I right in saying that I only have to remove the roof which I have done. The chip is easy to fit, The question is do I just plug the JST plug into the JST socket on the PCB board which is marked LS. Many Thanks Baz
  22. I was thinking more of getting rid of some of my Lima 37's on Ebay instead. That is if these Accurascale one's really are better.😀
  23. Didn't really want 419 but just managed to get the last one, its a bit modern but its nice to have all the same. This is the first one for me from batch 1 as I have some ordered from the later batches. Just wanted to get my hands one to see are they as good as everyone are saying. Regards Baz
  24. I've tried fitting a Dcc Concepts Stay Alive (DCD-ZNSA.11) 2 wire to the KR Models Fell but with no luck. It still cuts out all the time , its fitted with a Loksound V5 and I've soldered the blue and the black wire direct to the solder pads on the chip as the diagram from ESU. On JMRI it shows up on the Function page Aux 7 is a Power pack and Aux 9 is a power pack. Changed CV 315 =0 CV 31=16 CV 32=0 CV315=0 CV 339=31 Not sure what to try next Thanks Baz
