  1. Hi Tony Yes I do remember selling those two locomotives to Ollie, I’m not sure if he purchased some other locos as well. On both locomotives I changed the identity and weathered them as well. They do look good on your wonderful layout. Thank you for your kind compliments. Best Regards David
  2. Thank you Tony Yes both of those models did belong to me and were weathered by me as well, it must have been Geoff who purchased them. I only sold one of my models to Gilbert an A4 60031 Golden Plover he did not have that model and it suited his layout and time era. It’s so nice to see photos of them running again especially on superb layouts such as your Little Bytham and Gilbert’s Peterborough North. Thank you for your reply. Regards David
  3. Hi Tony Although Haymarket has been sold on I still keep a watch on what’s going on in RMWeb. May I take this opportunity to wish you and your family a Happy and Healthy 2024 and the same to all RMWeb members I got to know in the 10 years I was building Haymarket I am certain that the A2/3 GKing/ Bachmann conversion No 60521 Watling Street in your last post was one of two along with No 60511 Airborne I sold earlier this year but I cannot remember who purchased it from me. Beat Regards David
  4. I thought I was finished with Haymarket as all items have been sold then I found this today in a drawer at home. Mint condition Right Track 4, Detailing and Improving RTR Locomotives and Coaches, Running Time 3 Hours 15 Minutes. Retails at £20.00, I am looking for £10.00 plus £2.50 Postage, anyone interested please message me. And yes this really is my last item for sale. Regards David
  5. Thank you Richard, that’s very kind of you to say that. It may amaze people when I say I am relived it has now all been sold as I was getting a little frustrated that I did not have the room to complete it, and to do so was becoming a bit of a money pit and far better than have to dispose of it. I honestly think I will miss the communication with RMWeb members like yourself more than the layout itself. Now looking forward to getting back into photography in a big way. Its been a pleasure talking to you and other members. Best Regards David
  6. Hi I know my last post said THE END, I am a bit like Elton John and his last concerts. Any way I forgot about this item which is also for sale, a photo plank I made up some years ago following an excellent Andy York article in one of the Model Railway Journals. This is approx 4'-0" x 1'-6" or 1200mm x 450mm in size, its purely for photographing your model locomotives and with a bit of photoshopping it can produce some stunning images and comes as seen with the signal box included. Its very light in weight being made from foam insulation board. This item is too big to be posted so collection from Swindon or close by is the only option. I am looking for £50.00 for it. Photos below the show photo plank itself and examples of the type of images you can produce from it. Any interest please message me, and this will be my final post. Regards David
  7. Hi Ollie They are different books, I have just sold those two plus a third Tim Shackleton book on weathering rolling stock only a few weeks ago. They are both well worth getting if you want to do your own weathering. Regards David
  8. Hi Just an update on Haymarket 64B. The layout hand all locomotives and rolling stock have now been sold with the exception of four locomotive two coaches and a single wagon, All these remaining models are now with Replica Railways to be sold for me at the next model railway exhibition they attend. I would like to thank all members for their help and support I have received over the past 10 years. The buyer of the layout is an RMWeb member so I will leave it to him to make any comments on his intentions with what he will do with it. The End. Best Regards David
  9. Hi Brian Thank you for your comments. The turntable is a standard Peco plastic turntable kit. I removed the oversize plastic handrails and replaced all in brass, I also scratch built the turntable motor housing from photos. Regards David
  10. Hi Gilbert Golden Plover looks well at home on Peterborough North. Its very satisfying form my point of view to know it will continue to run on your wonderful layout. Thank you for purchasing it from me. It’s a shame you already had 60012 as I still have that A4?and 60009 still for sale. Regards David
  11. Hi Tony Thank you for your kind comments on the locomotives Geoff purchased from me. I do hope he is happy with them and so nice to see them running on a layout where they can stretch their legs I do hope they didn’t let me down to much trying to pull your superb carriages. I’m sure Geoff will read this as well, thank you Geoff for taking them to Tony’s Little Bytham. Regards David
