I am looking to find a copy of Modern Transport from 31st October 1953 in order to get a copy of an article. Would anyone happen to have a copy that would be willing to scan an article or know where might have a copy of this magazine? Thanks

If you were to consider doing anything for the Irish market loco wise, the obvious choice is the 001 Class. There was 60 of these locos, which were built in 1955-56. Eventually re-engined with GM EMD engines, they lasted in service until the mid 90's, and were the backbone of rail services, both freight and passenger, until the arrival of the 201 Class locomotives in 1994. I think they carried 8 different liveries in their careers.

Is there a list anywhere of what is available in either RTR or kit form of departmental stock such as coaches, tampers etc?

Are these models still available to purchase? Sent mail to mail address but no reply received.

Anyone know of any shop that still has any B850B or B850C versions of these wagons still available for sale? Thanks.
