Some sort of a return Jon?
You know it makes sense.Quite possibly mate, coming to the end of a financial commitment I’ve had for the last few years and ready to direct the spare cash back towards the hobby.
Might be a change in gauge on the cards as well, just need to find the space !

Hi Mick
No probs, see below plus a few more I snapped.
Taken by myself with permission and i'm happy to see them on your thread but I trust everyone will respect that they're not for re posting or reproduction anywhere else please.
As I said on my own thread a few weeks ago, if anyone wants to drop me a PM requesting pictures I may be able to get whilst on my travels, just let me know, i'd be happy to help.

Sorry Alex but I have nothing constructive to say about your latest photos other than......stunning, stunning stunning.
I just picked up a Hornby Coal Sector 58 from the model shop, secondhand and covered in green overspray (the mind boggles) but a bargain at £20 ! Having had a closer look back home, getting it to look anything like realistic is going to be quite a challenge ! I'll keep you posted !
I've also found an interesting colour for the outside panelling. Looking at several prototype photos it certainly doesn't look like a standard Halfords Primer Grey job. I've not sprayed anything yet but the colour I found is Ford Dove Grey from Halfords and looking at the lid colour I might be onto a winner. Had you had any thoughts on outside colour ?

Very nice indeed, however, you appear to have slipped in a shot of the real thing ? It's the third one down of the Crompton, excellent weathering on the buffers and snowploughs, a real 'had to look twice' shot. Superb !

Alex
Found this the other day during a tidy up and thought it would be right up your street !
How's this for a line up just outside the shed -

Jo, who cares what 60054 is doing on Laira, what a great set of pics !
Ive followed this with interest from the start, loved the way the scratchbuilt structures were executed, especially that roofline and now youve produced a cracking set of pics. The first of 60054 had me double take as did the high overhead 153 shot.
To get anyone to double take in OO is an achievement but to do it in N is brilliant.
Looking forward to that 50 being finished, no filthy Lo~@H*ul though...........please !!!!

Super work as usual Dave, love the destination/station stickers in the window, remember collecting many of those as a kid !
Joey paid a visit during his summer holidays, first thing he said when he arrived, ''its just like that mans layout on RMweb, you know, the one that does those 'speedy' shots'' !!

Hi Alex !
I see the medication hasnt kicked in yet !! lol
Seriously though, just caught up on 15 or so pages and this mad idea just gets better and better. As stated before, the representation of the wheel lathe and care taken with details such as the internal depot offices will all come together to make it king of the TMDs.
I look forward to the day I can photograph locos ticking over just outside, it will bring back many happy memories bunking round the place on a Sunday afternoon.
Keep up the super work........
How realistic are your models? Photo challenge.
