Glad someone on some "War" programme remembered that the Wegrmacht fighting i Kent would have starved and tun out of supplies dues to the odd ship being in the channel after them

I recall a prog which said they actually played our a 'war game' at Sandhurst in 1971-ish with many of the original players who were still alive, and the outcome was that the Germans would ultimately be repulsed but at huge cost to Kent and E Susex which would become wastelands -except Dungeness which is already
