    There are probably more railway modellers than speakers of Welsh and Scottish in the UK. So why doesn't the BBC provide us with a TV channel?

      because we are not a small enough minority.

      It also helps that most of the Welsh speakers are in the same place (there aren't any "Scottish speakers"!)

      by 'Scottish speakers' I presume you'd mean gealic? (appologies if i spelt it wrong!). But maybe amodelling channel could work, featuring all forms from ships to planes to railways to have enough reach for viability?
