Kernow Model Centre have today announced the following:
No cards will not be charged until we are ready to send the model.
A double negative, is that right?
-
Heljan orginally announced a 4mm scale one around the time of bachmanns was announced (2004?) however they backed down following the announcement of the Bachmann one IIRC
Presumably they had already gone some way to researching the 66, measuring up etc so I guess this is using the data obtained then.
Interesting this goes in competion with the mehano version which is also being rereleased this year although I'm not sure if its just going to be the 5 door version.

I have had this problem with insufficient mixing.
I have heard that warming the tin to begin with helps with mixing it as this will reduce its viscosity and therefore enabling you to mix it around a lot more. A short time resting on the radiator will apparently do the trick. Though I am yet to try this as its been some time since I did any serious painting :-(

That is the colour scheme shown for the 4mm Intercity Mk2F so I'd presume so.
I wouldn't call them soon to be released though, I wouldn't be surprised if they are good couple years off at least.

Becareful of detail differences between the different 37s
Of note are the difference between the rsh and ee built ones
Nose grills
Positioning of horns
Of course if you can look over these differences then you can chop and change all you like and create some nice variety :-)

Nice work on the shark, keeps making me want to do a short rake of mmp dogfishs with a shark on the rearer for a club layout.

and the "Newbridge" entrance as it was Oct. 2011. Apologies for the crappy Quality of the phot. The Advertising hoarding still in use!
Ah so that's where it is. I lived that way last year but could never work out where the entrance was.
Apparently some of the tunnel is still there and it runs very close to the Victoria tunnel near by. (I was told there was there is only a few pieces of wood in between at places!)

Is there a conversion factor for how many minutes in a woman clothes shop equals a minute at a model railway show?
XF
Perhaps more than a factor, maybe it Exponentially increases..
Shops(Mins) = eshows(mins)

Doesn't anyone want to create anything for themselves these days? judging from the line in your sig perhaps you should tweak it to DEMU - RTR at its best!
Cheers

Because I have enough projects on the go at the moment to last me till 2030.
I still haven't finished my Leyland Cruiser...

There is an article in the current Hornby magazine about development of the model including details on drive/motor arrangements and a few CAD images

Jon,
Just looked and you mentioned that 7007 was rebuilt with a flat roof which would tie in with trussing along the side
-
Unique Jon, LS7050, W H Davis, 1975.
When built and in it's early days of service it was in all over stainless steel.
Got the number of the big bird somewhere but can't find it. Watch this space!
Do you know when it got rebuilt as the original LS7050 didn't have the trussing along the side??
